I've seen a lot of doctors in my years, and approve of Dr. Pinto as your primary care giver. Too many Doctors today treat you like a part on an assembly line and push you out the door, often without addressing your concerns. Not Dr. Pinto. She's been really good at managing my health care needs, finding specialists, booking appointments, and always seems to remember, or at very least read up on all my test results before she comes to see me. Hard to get appointments tho, she's a busy Doctor, as many are. Other than that, two thumbs up.

I changed doctors when Dr Pinto told me it was perfectly safe to take naproxen and advil at the same time. Clearly Pinto has had one too many covid infections and now her cognitive reasoning is damaged. Be careful. Maybe get a second opinion. She’s not in her right mind.

Dr. Victoria Pinto is a young, progressive doector with many years of experience. She is patient, wise and thorough with her patients. She kept me on as a patient when she took over the practice from two doctors who retired and I really appreciate that. Even through Covid she would return phone calls and 'visit' her patients in that manner.

keep pushing for specialists I got very discouraged and listened to receptions advice when trying to connect with doctor . They are not medical professionals don’t get fooled and try hard to stand up for yourself and what you believe in . going on being sick for 3 months one thing after another. This is not not normal in any way shape or form , I care about me and my families health even though this is just a job to them as passion and caring for people seems to have withered away . it might be annoying hearing from patients who follow up with their concerns that are not going away , they care about their health not your opinion of them. Unfortunately I am a people pleasure so I forget how to stand up for myself . never experienced this in my life and the reception should not be giving medical advice when you want to book an appointment with doctor for someone who has bad anxiety and very vulnerable .. doesn’t mesh well . You ask what call is about and just book with the doctor as the patient is asking in my opinion. It’s hard to find family doctors as it is its very disappointing when you come out of a ptsd violent situation and start caring about your health again to just be shut down. Please do better, it’s all I ask :( I never would want someone to feel like I do, its free to be kind and compassionate. I never want to complain and hard to confront. I hope this can improve care , as I care each and everyone of you. If your having a bad day, don’t take it out on patient please.

I secretly recorded my last few appointments to show my psychotherapist who believes I’m clearly being medically gaslit. Dr Victoria Pinto is a medically gaslighter and I have a lot of proof.

She don't know who you are, she won't take the time to listen to you about health concerns, she does'nt face you to talk to you, she mumbles. You have to tell her medicines your on that she wrongfully prescribed. Never does follow ups even when she orderd blood work thats bad. You have to call specialist to get appointments to only have to wait months for your health problem, by then they are so severe. Don't go there and keep reading these bad reviews. Dr. Lapinsky's was our Drs. before her and they were great. (Retired now) Knew exackly who we were and always knew our health problems and follewed up. Even when I was younger Dr. Lapinsky came into the hospital when I crushed my elbow to see if the hospital was treating me good.

Dr pinto is hands down the worst doctor I have ever had. She had misdiagnosed me on several occasions. I have been going to her for years complaining about abdominal pain, throwing up every time I eat, dizziness, fainting. She never lets you talk, tests are never run, no follow ups and ever made and getting your phone call answered or call returned is impossible. She said I had gas, prescribed me meds without taking any tests or bloodwork. A few days later I was buckled over in pain my entire body was seizing, I was rushed to emerge where the doctor was furious with the medication I was on. My kidneys were failing due to and undiagnosed infection, the meds I was prescribed were causing worse inflammation and almost caused me to need surgery. Since then I have had several of the same complaints. I’m always in pain, I have a constant fever and I can’t keep food down, same symptoms for years just keep getting worse and worse. Pinto told me I was fine, that the pain was associated to a miscarriage, but had she been listening or seen any of my previous tests done at McMaster she would know I haven’t gotten a period in years and I’m addition am unable to have children. I took myself to Juravinski where cancer was found in my cervix and I needed to have surgery. I had an infection from this surgery, as my body hates me, and every hospital wants you to contact your family doctor if you have any issues.something that I have been trying to do for weeks with absolutely no luck. I have been hung up on, ignored, told pinto would call me back and never does. I spoke with her myself and she said she would refer me to a pain clinic, that was over two months ago. I begged for an MRI or CT as my issues have not subsided since surgery and she flat out said no, I don’t need one. Terribly uncaring, unprofessional and shocks me she has not been sued for malpractice. My mom went to her to be treated for pneumonia, something she gets sick with a lot. Pinto argued with her, told her she’s too young to get pneumonia and that she needed to take Advil, have less stress and sleep it off. My mom spent 6 weeks in the hospital with severe pneumonia and almost died during Christmas season. Dr.Pinto is HIGHLY disliked by my family and DO NOT recommend her to anyone. The nurse that helped me at the hospital, the specialist who completed my surgery and my naturopath all have complaints about her and made a face when they found out that was my family doctor- clearly well known in a negative way throughout the medical industry. Dr.Lapinsky was an amazing doctor, her and her husband should have never passed on their practice to her she has completely destroyed their patients care and safety. If giving no star was an option that’s what I would have done.

Terrible, been my doctor my whole life and now that I can speak for myself I’d love to say it’s a waste of time. I get told constantly I don’t need help or to pop Advil 3 times a day, I’ve seeked the necessary help for years and she still says I do nothing about any of my problems. She doesn’t care and doesn’t let me speak when I do get in to see her after waiting and waiting
