Used to be really great but over the last couple years, she always seems too busy. If I come in knowing exactly what I want, she will help. But if I don't know what I need, she always wants to "wait and see". Despite asking for help to find a specialist or provider who could help me with medical issues that are not urgent but are uncomfortable, have persisted for multiple years, and are slowly growing worse, she has not offered any ideas or referrals. She says she will think about it but never follows up and seems to have forgotten about it by the next visit. If I find them myself, she will sign a referral. I think she should be more helpful.

Also, I am not sure how current her knowledge is. She has twice suggested medications that could not be filled - one was not available in Canada and the other was not available in the dosage she prescribed. My pharmacist has offered more helpful suggestions off the top of his head than Dr Kim has given me in multiple visits.

I'm really disappointed since I used to think of her as the best Dr I've ever had. I have hoped that it was just a busy period or off day, but the quality of my care has been has been declining for more than 2 years now. I am now looking for a new doctor.

Dr. Kim is very thorough and helpful. She is kind and takes the time to understand her patient's needs. I highly recommend her.
