Poorly run office with rude people and Dr Raby worst of all. Stuck with large bill that nobody explained and told to take over the counter meds.

Though it is sometimes difficult to get an appointment and office visits take awhile, Dr. Raby is worth the wait. She has been managing my severe asthma for most of my life (I'm 23), and successfully treated an immune disorder I had several years ago. She is kind and approachable, and encourages me to take part in my care. Her office staff is always nice, and I really like the Nurse Practitioner in her office as well. I not live in Birmingham, but continue to travel back to Huntsville to see Dr. Raby because she knows my history so well.

I'd like to preface that I worked in customer service for years. In that capacity, I was lauded and promoted quickly. So I'm familiar with above-par and under-par customer service. When I called this office to reschedule an appointment, I was treated with such rudeness and distain that I feel I have to share this. When I asked to speak to the office manager, because I wasn't getting anywhere "with honey" with the recepionist, I was abruptly put on hold. After more than five minutes, the receptionist returned in the same mood. She dismissed me with "Dr. Raby is our practice manager and she chooses not to speak with you." !!!! They may be knowledgeable medical providers, but this patient recommends that, if you have a choice, find a different allergist. I did.

Dr. Raby is a wonderful doctor. My only complaint is that the amount of time that you have to spend there on an appointment. My appointment was at 12:30 p.m. I was seen about 1:25 p.m. then I left there after 4 p.m. I only took two hours from my job, but ended up taking 5. But the ability to have good health is priceless. Dr. Raby is able to offer me great assistance with my rare disorder. If you are looking for a doctor that will do things right, Dr. Raby is the perfect doctor, just do not be in a hurry.

Honestly, the worst doctor I have ever visited! I was the first appointment of the day but waited over 2 hours because she wasn't there. Her staff was extremely rude and Dr. Raby herself was very rude, dismissive, and clearly rushed. Do to waste your time with her. I HIGHLY reccommend Dr. Kumar and his staff!!

My specialist referred me for treatment of a primary immune deficiency. During my first appointment - I was told I might as well leave because they didn't have all my medical records. My files were sent when the appointment was initially made. More than three weeks later, after repeated calls...having my doctor re-send the files - they still claim they do not have the information to even complete my first consultation (though I was charged for it). Even if they do obtain these records, I don't think I would be comfortable trusting them with my healthcare. If a serious complication should arise as a result of my treatment - I might not be able to afford to wait months to get a response. My experience with this office has been most unpleasant.

I commend Dr. Raby and her entire staff. My 13 year old has CVID and we had wasted an entire year at Children's with absolutely no results for treatment. Dr. Raby is very kind, compassionate and desires to educate her patients. Her office staff was such a pleasnt surprise. I highly recommend her! Thank you so much Dr. Raby!

I cannot believe no one has rated this wonderful doctor yet. Dr Raby found the underlying cause of my medical problems, which no other doctors had done. She has prescribed treatment that has made a significant difference (and I mean a significant difference) in my life. I CAN ONLY SAY - THANK YOU DR RABY.....THANK YOU!!!!
