I have seen many cardiologist more than 20 years but he is the very best cardiologist. He is always listen, cares his patients with gentleman manner. He is truly the best cardiologist for me.

Thoroughly endorse all preceding comments. I also was impressed by his unhurried, patient manner, never in a hurry to get me out the door. Patient, clear and detailed explanations about my condition. Friendly and caring manner. Never any trouble to give me extra time if I expressed concerns which might require extra examination.

An amazing and extremely professional doctor,who genuinely cares about his patients. I recently had a double byepass in R.P.A. and he visited and checked on my condition every one of the days I was in recovery. Cannot say enough about this wonderful human being.

His practice is professional and decidedly unstuffy. His personal manner is patient and informative and characterised by what seems on his part a desire to understand the whole person. Diagnosis / treatment becomes a voyage of mutual discovery that entirely avoids the brusque authoritarian manner that many doctors, probably driven by their own stress, feel compelled to adopt.

I have worked with many doctors and changed a few because of their arrogant or dismissive attitude. You will not find this with Patrick. A man of total integrity, professional, caring, capacity to listen, offers options and spends time with you to make sure the best treatment is based on clinical data. None of this in and out, here's a script. You know that his approach to your treatment has been well thought through and he explains everything as he goes (not the best artist lol). Drs get to where they are because OUR public health care system trains them, yes they pay more for their medical degree, but they would not have the capacity to earn their hundreds of thousands of dollars per yr if it were not for the Public system, so I become very angry when doctors not only make rapid diagnosis in very short times then charge over $200 for 10-15 min and we get back $70. Unlike most doctors these days, he takes his time to make sure you are treated properly, he doesn't overcharge and you get the impression he is in medicine because he genuinely wants to help and money is not his god. There is a lot of people out there who could learn from this man.

I know Dr Groenestein from a few years ago when he looked after my mother in the Coronary care Unit at RPA. He was always there looking after the patients at all hours. I always said that if I ever had any problems I would only seek him out as he was a wonderful Doctor, caring and compassionate. Well my time has arrived as I am having a few issues. Dr Groenestein has not only looked after me but also responds to my phone calls and returns my calls if unavailable at the time. In all the years that I spent taking my mother to different specialists and all the time that she spent at RPA no other Doctor has impressed me or my family in his genuine compassion and caring. Countless times I would find him at my mums bedside holding her hand and sharing a cup of tea listening to my mums stories of when she was a child during world was two. I truly and genuinely am in awe of this man as he has proved what a great Doctor and compassionate man he is.

Best cardiologist ever! Been to 3 well known cardiologist (including the head of cardiologist dept) and he is the best. Dedicated, polite, caring and willing to spend time to explain everyhing you need to know. Staff also nice and friendly
