Not a good doctor at all. He does not read your past medical history and he wants his assistance to do it all for you, I will not recommend Dr Belletrutti at all, he does not communicate well and leaves it to his female assistant to perform on you (his assistant even does not talk proper English). They almost killed me in Foothills hospital, without reading my reaction to medications they injected to my vane. at the end he said I did not tolerate medication they injected, well it's your job to read past history of the patient dummy.

Dr Belletrutti has performed 4 procedures in total on me...2 of them very complex polypectomies. He is the epitome of what a doctor and specialist should be....highly skilled and competent, while maintaining his humanity. As an overly anxious patient, his calm and patient approach, his transparency, his excellent communication skills, and his sense of humour enabled me to persevere through very difficult procedures. Simply put....I trusted him to do the best he could in my circumstances. He helped ne to avoid much more invasive surgery.
Do not hesitate to access services from this man. He is a very special specialist.

He's the Man! He removed a Polyp by using the DBE procedure when others failed. Two surgeons were intent on doing surgery. He saved AHS money and me time and recovery. He is a Confident Professional and is a Wonderful Physician. I am very pleased to have been his patient. I hope he stays in Calgary and continues doing what he's doing. He's the Total Package. He's the Real Deal!

I was referred to Dr. Belletrutti from another GI physician. I have moderate to severe Eosinophilic Esophagitis. My previous GI was amazing however she couldn't perform the endoscopy, (using an ultra-slim scope) without potentially rupturing my deteriorating esophageal lining caused by GERD. She placed me on PPI and antacids while I waited for a consult with Dr. Belletrutti. He is competent, knowledgeable, thorough, and compassionate. His patients' comfort level is a top priority for him which is unfortunately a rarity in medical care these days. I appreciate him. Although there is no definitive cure for my disorder, he has performed a Balloon-Dilation Endoscopy a couple times in order to stretch my inflamed esophagus. So far so good! I no longer have to take the corticosteroids for the inflammation since it never helped and gave me uncomfortable side effects. I will recommend Dr. Belletrutti to anyone who will listen. He actually cares! What a wonder, hey?

I found Dr. Belletrutti very caring and when one test didn't show results for the condition booked me in for additional tests until the problem was found. Will recommend him anytime. He is great!
