I had suffered a cancer cough (days and nights) for 6 months before coming to Sunrise Community Acupuncture Clinic in March 2017. My body could tolerate the terrible side effects of steroids and morphine - the only medications available to treat the cough, so I looked for another alternative. My cough stopped right on the 2nd day after taking the herbal medication prescribed by Mr. Grounin. I have been seeing him for a year now and my energy has been boosted up a lot. Mr. Grounin was the first person susgesting me to ask the doctor for a scan when I asked him about the numbness in my hand. The MRI showed brain metastases and my (very compassionate) radiation oncologists gave me radiation treatments on time. If it's not for Mr Grounin, I would not be here now. He is very professional, punctual, calm and generous. He has helped improving my quality of life and reducing stress and worries for my family. The clinic is very clean and well organised. The self booking system on his website is very convenient. This clinic is a gem in our city!

Very caring, knowledgeable and generous. After emergency surgery he prescribed Chinese herbs to eliminate my severe edema and later, herbs to promote healing. They worked - my family Doctor had nothing to offer me - he just told me to rest.

Thank you Sunrise Community Acupuncture Clinic for unbelievably great service. I was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma last year and I went to Denis to see if acupuncture would be able to help my fight against cancer and keep me strong during chemotherapy. Denis was very open and compassionate when discussing how acupuncture could help me during this tough challenge and the results were amazing. After each chemotherapy treatment I would experience severe nausea, decreased appetite and dreadful energy levels just as I was told to expect. After each acupuncture session the nausea would disappear, my appetite would return immediately and my energy would grown strong. There were times during this life challenge that I didn't have the ability to pay for all the treatments but Denis insisted that treatments and my health were more important than money, he continued to treat me.
