Nothing but positive experience with Dr. Vause! She was always so warm and knowledgeable. Really enjoyed having her as our fertility doctor. Thank you for our greatest gift ❤️

IVF and IVF only, and don't you dare to contradict her, because she knows best. Berates other doctors. Does not acknowledge poor success rates of her practise when compared to those berated others.

Like I read in another post "RUN" and not just run but get out as fast as you can and see another doctor. Unhelpful, unsympathetic, unethical and unprofessional. Worst of all does not go over all your options and makes you believe there are no options when that could be untrue. Seems she only cares about patients that she deems could be successful based on statistics or her own personal guesses. She gave me opinions on things before doing a single test of any kind. She definitely is not looking out for the best interest of the patient - I don't know if her driver is money, success stats or what it is, but this is not the standard of care I expect from any doctor. Dont waste valuable time and go elsewhere or see someone else as fast as you can. Very cold demeanour and makes you feel like you are just another number on a list - impersonal care. Frankly, I am disgusted with the care I got from her.

My last visit with Vause was during my 8th miscarriage a few years ago. After extensive testing (and finding a huge endometrioma suggesting severe endometriosis) and me begging her to find out what was wrong with me she coldly told me "Nothing is wrong with you. It's all just bad luck. Come back when you have some good news". Her male resident at that time literally chuckled under his breath when I told him that I knew I was pregnant with out a test and that I was losing the pregnancy. Because apparently I needed to pee on a stick to confirm I was pregnant even though this was the 8th one. I have never been so disgusted with a doctor before. I was shocked and left in tears.

I went back to my GP and told her I would NEVER go back there. To make a long story short, I ended up having a hysterectomy and excision for stage 4 endometriosis, adenomyosis and a grapefruit sized fibroid. All my organs were stuck together like glue. "Nothing is wrong with you". Right.

Several years later I'm still so angry with how I was treated. I would never advise anyone to see her unless you want to be dismissed and insulted.

I found Dr. Vause to be incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and patient. She was very clear on what may or may not be helpful, and really took things one step at a time with my partner and I (e.g., no need to try more intensive interventions unless the less intensive ones weren't working). She never sent my partner or I for any paid procedures. She can share information fairly quickly during the appointments but I never found this to be an issue, she consistently asked if my partner or I had questions and always took the time to answer any questions we had.

I always felt rushed when speaking to her. She definitely rushed us to do IUI and IVF. I do not believe she took the time to really understand our position. I would not recommend her to anyone. She is either extremely incompetent at what she does or cannot be bothered to do her job properly.

Worst doc ever! She misdiagnosed me and would have had my rubes removed for no reason! Save yourself and run... can't believe she's a doc
