I was very fortunate to have Dr. Woods as my oncologist when I arrived at the hospital with a very low hemoglobin count. I was a 'mystery' case yet he never stopped to find out what was wrong with me. I acquired hemophagocystic hystiocytosis - a rare blood disorder in 2015 and due to his concern, dedication and ongoing drive to find out and treat this disorder I have fully recovered. He is so intelligent, personable, candid and dedicated! I trusted him completely and am so blessed to have him as my doctor during this hard time. During my recovery, I saw him frequently and although I may have waited longer than my appointed time, I never questioned why he was late. As others have said, his bedside manner is exceptional and he is caring and honest. I love him! Thank you for saving my life Dr. Woods! I will never forget what you did for me!

Wow. Dr. Wood is one heck of an amazing doctor. So personable, laid back, super super intelligent. Took the time to explain the most minute detail with me about my extreme hemoglobin loss. Connected me with treatment in less than 24 hours. This man cares about his patients and is just, well amazing. I cannot praise him enough even just as a cool guy!

Dr Woods is simply the best. He is human and compassionate but really knows his stuff. I was blessed to have him as my oncologist during lymphoma. He is open and honest and gets u thru everything. I am now in remission thanks to him and the amazing oshawa cancer centre. His nurse Magda is also an absolute treasure.

I was diagnosed with non hodgkins follicular lymphoma which if you don't know can't be cured but can be put in remission, Dr. Woods did just that. He is very thorough intelligent and man he knows his stuff he is the Dr. you want treating you he is AMAZING can not say enough without him I probably would not be here. Need a hematologist ask for him!!!!

Dr. Woods couldn't be any better. Anyone that rates him low for punctuality has to remember how busy all doctors are. That's why I rate him as 5. He is friendly. He has an exceptional bed-side manner and is as professional as a doctor can be, He never rushes me, answers all my questions, and to me is an exceptional human being. I feel extremely fortunate to have him in my corner.

Dr Woods Changed my life. Living with Anemia was robbing my life and during my initial consultation he offered me knowledge about why it was affecting my life so dramatically. After 5 years of iron injections administered every two weeks, I was given a life line and after 7 transfusions of iron, I feel like a woman on fire and ready take on the world. Thanks Dr Woods

The best! Got my husband thru lymphoma. After all the problems we had Dr. Woods explained everything and was so up beat that we knew we'd get thru this. Wish we could have him as a family doctor too. One of the best!!

Dr Woods is fantastic. He is an expert in his field and gives you all the information you need in a kind friendly and warm way. I cannot say enough about Dr Woods and Magda. They got me through chemo and cancer and im forever grateful
