Dr. McElroy is such a great Dentist, its with great pleasure that i rate this office with all 5's !! He is knowledgeable, caring, welcoming , and has wonderful bedside manor. He treats his staff with such high respect, and it shows ! This office certainly has a " family " feel . Both myself and my 5 year old go to see Tina, and have always been in the best care! It's not everyday your son looks forward to his Dentist check up! But its always an exciting outing for us because we've had nothing but good experiences. She is so friendly & outgoing , and has endless care for her patients. It's very apparent she loves her job and is simply an exceptional dental assistant that always goes the extra mile . I would recommend anyone with young patients ( especially new comers) to ask for Tina, and make your next visit at Oak Bay Dental centre!

Dr. McElroy is very good at patient education. He is gentle and conservative in his approach. His staff members are all very professional. I have recommended him to friends. My only concern is that as time goes by, it is becoming increasingly difficult to get through by phone with most of my calls going straight to voice mail. When booking appointments for multiple family members and not always being available for a callback, this is becoming very inconvenient. Also, the automated reminder system for check ups (booked 6 months earlier at the previous check up) puts the onus on the patient to call to reschedule. If the receptionist did this personally, it would be easier for the patient to reschedule.

I moved my family to this practice after a bad experience elsewhere with a rough and scammy dentist, so I was pretty nervous. Happily, Dr Glen is a great dentist. He is a genuine professional who cares about your teeth and mouth health, is gentle and explains what he is doing when giving treatment. Importantly Dr Glen is not pushy and does not abuse patients benefits plans with unnecessary treatments. If only all dentists could be like him! The atmosphere is relaxed and family friendly, and all the staff are great. Tina who cleans the little kids teeth is a rock star. My twins were under 3 when she first saw them, and she actually got them to have the full works without being scared. They are really excited when they have a dentist appointment :)

Really great person.... super great with my kids. Bernie is so great with my girls.... just hangs out with them while the freezing kicks in and talks to them. My kids actually get excited to go here.... no anxiety anymore. Really grateful our family has met this team.

Dr. McElroy has been my dentist for about 6 years now and I am very happy with his quiet, respectful and thorough approach. Recently he started seeing my kids as well and they are also happy seeing him (as much as that is possible with a dentist!). I like that Dr. McElroy does not try to talk me into frequent x-rays and expensive procedures as has happened at the previous dentist office I went to. There is also never a long wait when I come for my appointment. I can recommend this dentist and his staff to individuals and families alike.

Went to Dr. McElroy for ten years and I am absolutely happy with him. Excellent work, always available for emergencies and very knowledgeable and approachable. Also love his staff. Probably one of the best dentists out there!

Dr. McElroy has been our family dentist for the last 15 years or so and he is a very genuine, knowledgeable, approachable person. He always does a fantastic job and doesn't hurry through anything. Thank you, Dr. McElroy! And Bernie and all the other Hygenist staff too!!
