I've been a patient with Dr. McElroy since he opened his practice in Oak Bay. I have been very happy with him and his staff. There are usually lots of smiles while things get done efficiently and well. I've brought my whole family, including a very reluctant husban, and all of us are pleased with our care. I would definitely recommend him.

Dr. McElroy and his team are FABULOUS! I’ve never met a team that works better together then his! The new receptionist Gwen always greets me with a smile, his assistants Bernie and Tina are superb and I’ve never had a more gentle and thorough cleaning in all my life. You can really feel that Dr. McElroy and his staff truly care for their patients. I would know as Dr. McElroy took time out of his weekend to get me out of pain by doing a root canal on a Sunday morning for me!! I am so happy we call Dr. McElroy our family dentist and we recommend him to anyone looking for a new dentist!! You won’t be disappointed. I can't imagine going to any other dentist ... My family and I will see you for many more years to come.

Awesome office! I would highly reccomend Dr. McElroy and his staff. The office is very friendly and inviting, my children love it there! Especially the giant train table in the waiing room :) I always feel like I'm in good hands at this office

A bad billing experience I had recently with Dr. Glen McElroy inclines me to suggest that existing or prospective patients avoid this dentist. An $1,800 fee ( I think somewhat excessive) for a straightforward crown on implant was divided between the dentist's fee of $950 and a stated lab fee of $850. But the fee actually charged by the lab was only $600, suggesting either a cash grab of $250, or a subsidy to other patients whose lab fees may be more than $850, but are nevertheless charged the set fee of $1,800. A set fee for every patient is unfair as it treats each patient the same , regardless of the possibly differing cost of their lab work. Dr. McElroy's would not speak to me directly, but his office said he did not know what to say. As I believe this dental billing procedure is unethical, I suggest clients needing care select another dentist.

Dr. McElroy and his hygienists are wonderful.Unfortunately the receptionist is unprofessional and makes a mistake with our files everytime. Sometimes forgets to add the correct information continusly makes mistakes and deletes our information. This experience is frustrating after Dr.Mcelroys fantastic professionalism and service.

Glen has been my dentist for many, many, years, and has seen me through many root canals, gum work, crowns, and my current treatment of an implant. I dread dental work, but I now regard his clinic as my "safe" place - he is thoughtful, respectful, caring, checks up after treatments, always tells me what is going to happen, is most understanding about my paranoia of the drill, and hasn't hesitated to come in on weekends for me when I've had one of my root canal problems. I could not recommend him, and his wonderful assistant Bernie, more highly. I cannot imagine going anywhere else and absolutely hate it when I "have" to go to a specialist. If you are looking for a new dentist, from someone who has had to have a lot of work done, I would suggest Glen and Bernie - they have my highest possible recommendation.

Have been seeing Dr. McElroy for close to ten years and could not recommend him more. You feel in good hands with him and even difficult procedures like root canals seem a cinch with Dr.McElroy. Very recommended!

My husband & I have been coming to this Clinic for several years. I must first add that I am quite frankly not eager to visit Dentists as over the years had nasty experiences. However we could not be happier with Dr McElroy. Since our first visits have felt very comfortable with the Proffesional & CARING staff & the great atmosphere that is so noticeable. Also include the superb Hygenists who try to keep our teeth in good working order. Last but by no means least -- Many thanks to our friends who man the desk look after our finances etc & put up with "frozen mouth" syndrome conversations !! Merry Christmas to all of you & thanks.

Dr. McElroy and his staff are outstanding! Dr. McElroy places great emphasis on my dental health and on making sure I am comfortable and pain free during any and all procedures! He has been my dentist since 1998 and I highly recommend him! Many thanks to Bernie, Shirley, Ayeh and everyone else there!
