I was seen by Dr.D.Kollek in emergency. This is a kind compassionet man. Took the time to explain what was the best treatment for particular situation. We are very lucky to have such a great and kind doctor in our emergency dept at JB in Burlington. I would like to thank all emergency staff on duty December 30th, 2023. Dr Kollek is compassionate, mild mannered and knowledgeable.
I have had the good fortune of being treated by him in the ER at least 3 times, and in each case before we parted ways I was always asked if I had further concerns, or if I needed further explanation behind his diagnosis or procedures that he was recommending.
Great bedside manner, which a lot of the newer physicians lack.
It is always a sad day when we have Doctor's who care about patients decide to hang the sign "GONE FISHING".

Disgusting human being did not listen to me and illegally put me on a form 42. Refused to let me audio record his care told me it was illegal I informed him the truth that it was not. He said he would refuse me care I turned off my phone and when proceeded was not only illegal but inhumane. Stay away from this doctor if you’re unfortunate enough to be in the ER

I attended Joseph Brant emergency department with a urgent health matter. Dr Kollek knew exactly what he needed to do in order to help relieve my pain. I can’t give enough praise to Dr Kollek. His demeanour is kindness and caring. Awesome Doctor!

I went to the ER for a fever and flank pain. I am a foreign worker. Dr. Daniel Kollek is the most considerate and patient doctor I have met in Canada. Will be always thankful to him for helping me in my difficult time.

I commend this Dr. for just being in the COVID-19 testing area for Joseph Brant Hospital. He was very kind and tried to deflate the tension of being there with his good bed side manner.

Dr. Kollek treated me in ER. As he was the only doctor on call, he was extremely busy handling patients coming through ER. Despite this, he was professional, gentle and caring. I was worried about numerous issues surrounding my ailment, but he provided the necessary reassurance. He was efficient and thorough in his decision making, and was politely firm.

I believe that Dr. Kollek's knowledge and quick action saved my life. My family doctor on 2 separate occasions had identified melanoma cancer as just a cyst.Dr. Kollek immediately recognized it was not a cyst, took the time to telephone a colleague and arrange for a biopsy. I was then referred to Dr. Ted Young, Oncology Surgeon at Juravinski Cancer Clinic where, after extensive surgery, the life threatening cancer was successfully removed. Dr. Young's skill is amazing and he is a remarkable surgeon. Joseph Brant and the emergency patients are very fortunate to have Dr. Kollek on staff.

The best ER doc we've ever encountered. He is very efficient, caring, knowlegable, kind and makes you feel like you are his only patient in the Er. Joseph Brant is very lucky to have him in the ER. Truly the best!
