Dr. Punambolan was excellent in reviewing my mother's case, explaining all the details, root causes, treatment options etc. He was able to adapt his explanations so that my 87 year old mother could understand them all, spoke in a very clear and articulate manner which is often not the case when doctors are on a schedule trying to get through as many calls as possible. I was very happy with the results of the call.

My mother had a stroke and the on call neurologist did not come in to care for her. The emergency room doc told me the he will call the chief neuro. Dr Ryan came in and found inflammation in my wife’s brain a rare cause of stroke. She’s On treatment now and is doing better.

The worst neurologist doctor I have ever seen . Super rude , supercilious and arrogant person . I was referred to him from my family doctor for headache. In the room I was super uncomfortable and irritated when he was doing the examination on me in front of my husband . So rushed didn't listen to my concerns .I had severe reaction to medications he prescribed for me and had to go to emergency at Abbotsford Hospital. After sitting for 2 hours there, the emergency doctor came to me and said they have tried to call him many times to know what other medications I can take but he did not answering his phone. It was the worse and life threatening medical experience I have ever had in my life. The girl at his office is extremely rude and NEVER picks up the phone and always goes to answering machine. He definitely had lack of knowledge for the medications was prescribed . I saw another neurologist in Abbotsford hospital who surprised with medications I was taking and stopped all Dr.Punambolam's medications and gave me new medications.
