when I saw Dr. Iqbal it was my first visit. Ihad been seeing one at UBC but was too far to go. So got referred to Dr. Iqbal. He explained things about my MS, very thorough and compassionate. Staff were great.

I first saw Dr. Iqbal after my brain surgery, he was very professional and knowledgeable, he explained my surgery, and the progress that I was making toward healing, he even showed pictures of my brain before and after my aneurysm surgery, he reassured me that I was OK now that I had the surgery.
I have also had two follow up appointments with him on the phone for him to check in and see how I was doing with my healing, I really appreciated this as I had also been in a motor vehicle accident and gotten whiplash and was in a considerable amount of pain, he referred me to a pain clinic, but the wait list was 3 to 4 months, I was able to find a Pain clinic in Abbotsford and spoke to them, and they said they could get me in much sooner, so I messaged Dr. Iqbal‘s medical assistant, Shalene, and she was able to get Dr. Iqbal to refer me to the clinic in town here, so I will be taken care of within the next 30 days, which means a lot when you’re in pain!
He is a very conscientious and caring doctor, he never rushed me when we had our appointments which I really appreciated, overall it was a very good experience, it’s amazing to be able to reach out to a neurologist and get help within a few days!
I also want to commend his medical office assistant, Shalene she is very professional, and great at her job, the first time I was there, she offered to send my files to my regular doctor, and at the time I did not have a doctor, and she was able to help me find a doctor Which was terrific as I had just gone through brain surgery and was very scared not having a doctor as my doctor had moved away.

My mum got admitted to Abbotsford hospital and she kept getting worse and other neurologist said she had a stroke. Dr Iqbal came and did detailed exam and urgent mri scan and lumbar puncture and turned out she had encephalitis and she improved within a day. When I met him in the ward it was a big surprise! He was the same man who pushed my car out of the snow when I got stuck in a snow storm on my way home last winter. No one helped me , not even my boyfriend sitting at home . Dr Iqbal almost fell helping me and his clothes all got wet. Dr Iqbal is not just a genius physician but also an angel to us and my family

Dr. Iqbal is the only doctor my son and I know who fights for the rights of those who cannot. He has an empathic relationship with my son and his condition. He has fought to get bloodwork and MRI’s for him. Having MS while being incarcerated and not getting the proper medical care and treatment put stress on both my son and I. My son found Dr. Iqbal very knowledgeable and personable when he needed all his questions answered. We would recommend Dr. Mudassir Iqbal to anyone who has MS. We thank you for all you have done. The only doctor who actually listened to me after 10 years of doctors and specialists telling me I’m crazy… thank you for taking your time. His MOA Shalene very personable goes above and beyond I went for 5 tests, could barely keep track of them she had them all ready for me. I needed IV Steroids urgently and Dr. Iqbal was away.. she got it done. Thank you doctor and staff you have no idea how much it has meant to me.

I’ve been attending Dr. Iqbals office for 4 years since 2020. He has always taken the time to explain everything in detail to me and has gone above and beyond. I’ve also had many encounters with his MOA who has been nothing but a gem to me. Today my baby wouldn’t stop crying and she played baby shark for my son to be calm. Keep working hard - Erin
