Sweetest staff and doctor- warm and professional and honest, a rare combination in medicine. I trust her to follow through on the tests ordered and she lets me know if any concern immediately.

Not sure what the point of a scheduled appointment is when you have to consistently wait well over an hour for a 5 minute appointment. In my original appointment I was dismissed as the doctor said she did not know what I had. In my follow up..took over 1.5 hrs to finally see Dr. mitto and unfortunately nothing resolved. I appreciate that she requisitioned labs and a referral to rule out potentials..but the wait times for a few minutes of face time are brutal!!

Dr. Mittoo took the time to listen, to educate, and to build a rapport with me. She is punctual, even seeing me earlier than the appointment time. The staff at The Rebecca MacDonald Centre for Arthritis and Autoimmune Disease have been friendly and helpful; it's obvious that they want to be there and aren't just showing up because it's a way to pay the bills. Unlike some other doctors, Dr. Mittoo does not have a god complex. She's the first rheumatologist who's been able to really help me. Thank you, Dr. Mittoo!

Dr. Mittoo is an exceptional doctor. She is warm, caring and extremely respectful. She is smart and very knowledgable in the field of Rheumatology. She was trained at John Hopkins. Every person I have recommended her to have reported a similar evaluation. I feel confident in my care - she is very thorough in her evaluations and treatments.

Dr. Mittoo is a extrememly proficient doctor. She is very warm and caring physician going out of her way to assist me with dealing with my rheuamtoid arthritis. Great doctor and very through!! I strongly recommend Dr. Mittoo!!

I cannot believe someone would give Dr Mittoo a bad review. By far the best rheumatologist I have ever seen in my 20 years battling with anklosing spondalitis. she is thoughtful, caring, helpful and incredibly intelligent. She has great bedside manor and diagnoses correctly and efficfiently. A FANTASTIC DOCTOR!!!!!...Kris

After meeting with Dr. Mittoo the first time, I was stunned to read a negative review about this doctor. Dr. Mitto has the perfect combination of professionalism, knowledge, patience and kindness. She listened attentively to my history and clearly explained what she believed was my diagnosis (based on my symptoms, a thorough examination and previous tests). She was comprehensive in sending me for follow-up tests, in communicating with my family physician, and in starting me on a treatment plan immediately. I was not rushed through my appointment and appreciated Dr. Mitto's patience with my many questions. Dr. Mittoo also made herself available for a follow-up call when I had questions about my tests and medication (unheard of with most physicians). I was thoroughly impressed with this doctor, as was my husband who is in the health-care profession. Dr. Mittoo's receptionist, Let, is also very receptive and helpful.I can't say enough about this doctor. Thank you!! L.

This doctor is not very compassionate and does not understand chronic pain conditions that are non-inflammatory in nature. She asks lots of questions but does not wait for you to explain your symptoms before she jumps to the next question. I did not feel understood and left with more questions than answers.
