I have been seeing her for nearly 5 years and when i first saw her I was in so much pain and un-diagnosed. She is caring, human and gets to know the whole patient not just where the pain is. I cannot recommend her more highly than i have. Today I live a full life and i owe that to her. One of the best doctors I

When I was in so much pain with my neck and my family doctor couldn't get me in to a specialist- Dr. Mittoo advocated for me and I was able to see a surgeon and got surgery and got my life back. She has been an amazing support and sounding board- I appreciate her care and her staff!

Dr. Mittoo is all human, she is very caring and comptent. a very unique combination in healthcare. She does not consider me as one of her statistics. She makes sure that all questions are addressed and what I like most is the reports to my family physician is available immediately. She constantly monitors my lab results and just calls me if I am feeling better.

I have been seen by a lot of doctors and nobody came close to the tender care Dr. Mittoo have shown me. I was with this other patient one time and we were discussing about how she treats us not as mere statistics but patients who need to be taken care of. She has given us back the reason to go on despite of our illnesses.

I was diagnosed with Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis 48 years ago and was fortunate enough to have a fabulous Rheumatologist for more than 20 yrs. Unfortunately, he passed away and I had to find someone new. I ended up with Dr. Mittoo due to another Rheumatologist ' s maternity leave. I have waited more than an hour on several occasions for a five minute visit where she didn't even bother to sit down. I find her dismissive and always makes me feel as if she has somewhere else to be. I am in the process of researching other Rheumatologist. The relationship between me and my rheumatologist needs to be a solid one as it will need to be a long one. She is knowledgeable and should focus on research as her patient skills and"bedside manner" are lacking.
