I had a teeth scan done here and the assistant was rough and harsh doing my scan. She persisted even when I said it hurt, apologizing but not changing what she was doing. She did say to raise my hand if I felt uncomfortable. When I did due to extreme pain, she did not stop what she was doing and I felt suffocated. I am not sure if this was necessary but feel like it could have been easily avoided. I have never left a dentist appointment in near tears before. The whole time was uncomfortable and quiet. I did not feel valued as a patient. Some staff were friendly and helpful, but I may look into going elsewhere after this experience.

Very kind and professional orthodontist. Takes the time in answering all your questions in a easily digestible manner so you can feel much more comfortable in moving forward with your treatment with her. Staff is extremely helpful and cheerful!

Dr. Adams is patient, professional and unlike other orthodontists that we have had, she spends time with her patients. She is very knowledgeable The staff are fantastic as well.

Dr. Adams is a very honest and patient person. She would rather use her time to check medical precedents and check my teeth really thoroughly before the operation than getting the operation poorly done. She always wants to get the best result possible and she only do things if she is 150% sure, whereas other dentists were only 80% sure of what they are doing. She would think of all the method and then make a decision. She does not mind spending her time (=money) to do it. According to my own experience not every dentist in Vancouver really care about getting the method right and some of them just care more about money. I did my braces with two other doctors before coming to see Dr. Adams. Dr.Adams found some cavities when doing my adjustment whereas other two orthodontists never did.

Very talented, knowledgeable, caring, professional orthodontist. She's definitely one of the best orthodontists around the lower mainland-I've seen a bunch.
