Can't say we are impressed. Arrived late for my daughters delivery, there were some complications which later we found could have been avoided! I would not recommend him as he is the sort of person that puts on a fake smile and when you need him when it counts most he arrives late, unapologetic and somewhat irresponsible. I would not recommend him.

Dr. Farmer is an incredible family doctor. He has years of experience and is very well known in the medical space (nationally not just in Vancouver) so you know you can trust him. He is very friendly, honest, trustworthy and extremely kind and patient. I’ve been his patient for 3 years and I feel so lucky to have him as my doctor!! He takes good care of me and my family.

I was warned by a friend to avoid Dr. Farmer as she found him pretty obnoxious, but I decided to give it a fair try and so went to see him. Now I regret it of course!

First he arrived 20 minutes late and did not even offer a small apology. I was rushed through my appointment as he kept looking at his watch and did not answer most of my questions and kept interrupting me. It was disrespectful as he seemed more concerned to listen to a patient than to have the next patient in. I did not feel comfortable by his behavior.

I was with my wife during the visit and am very disappointed with his egocentric behaviour. Patients care is not top on his list. Rushed my wife through her appointment so he could make it for a trip to whistler! She cried after the visit, totally selfish and fake, will not recommend!

He can be hard to get in to see but he is a one of a kind doctor. He delivered my son and sees my three children and I. We all think he’s the best!!

Dr. Farmer has taken me on during my pregnancy. He and his team have been incredible! I’ve felt so well taken care of. When there was a concern, tests were ordered and I was reassured. He is kind, patient and extremely good at explaining things (even though you know he’s had to say the same thing to patients so many times)! For a busy clinic, they run close to on time and the staff are very nice. I wish he were my GP! I do not think he taking new patients on for GP services; However, if you’re looking for a physician to follow you during your pregnancy, I would highly recommend Dr. Farmer or anyone from his clinic at City View medical. They have admitting privileges to Women’s and it’s nice that you see the same team throughout the whole pregnancy.

An incredible doctor. Very personable, has children of his own and a busy life, understands things on a multiple of levels. A good listener and asks thoughtful questions to ensure we has the information needed. Its a busy practice and he is sometimes hard to get into but the wait is worth it as I know I am meeting with someone with a great deal of knowledge who I am confident will help me and my family with the right path forward.

An absolutely wonderful physician. Always gets it right. I trust him 100 percent with my care and care of my children. Every time we’ve come for drop in the other doctors in his group are equally wonderful and reliable. So grateful.

Wonderful, kind, excellent physician. Have always been cared for well and appropriately. He refers as needed and never questions me, and takes the time to listen. I am so grateful he is our family doctor.
