I only gave the staff 3 stars as they are working hard and have nothing to do with Dr. Farmer.
I have no issues with Dr. Michael being a bisesxual, however, that should not give any Dr. the right to touch you inappropriately or make sexual jokes. As a woman, I did not comfortable being in his presence.

Same as many reviews below...he seems "determined" to have you listen on how great a Dr. he is.
He talked about himself for a full 10 minutes and the whole check up was 15 minutes. I felt robbed of my time as I had to take a day off from work. Why need to validate you worth by a patient who is there to seek your professional opinion, not to play therapist and I don't want to be mean, but we all have busy lives and should respect each other time.

I saw Dr. Michael a few times who once had me out of his office before I could even ask what he was giving me a referral for or why. Also, when I asked for a simple pre-screening blood test he responded with “It’s not like the results will change anything” as if this was his decision to make or wanting information to be better prepared is somehow wrong. My current OB does this test on all their patients.

You deserve better. There are many fantastic OBs in the city even if some of them are a bit of a commute, it is worth it.

fter waiting for over an hour to see the doctor, I go into his office. It’s dark and weird—the exam table was just a few feet away from his office desk. He addressed me as “cookie” the entire appointment—even when he was inside me.

While he was examine my vagina, he commented that I had “beautiful, fair skin” down below. At this point I wanted to leave and never come back. He finished my PAP and then made me come in and wait over an hour for an appointment just to tell me that my results were normal.

Came to the room for a pelvic examination. The first comment he makes is "who forgot to share her legs today!". I have barely perceptible blond hair on my legs, even if it was visible. I was wrongly informed he was gay, which made me more comfortable as a woman having her private parts examined by a male Dr.

My friend who is a nurse and has worked with Dr. Farmer told me he is actually Bi which made me a bit upset as during the examination, I didn't like the way he kept touching me and kept repeating the word p**sy instead of vagina. In a professional setting that usage is unacceptable.

Poor bedside manners.
Talked down to me and wouldn't let me ask questions. No empathy or concern. Googled this site to see how he managed to get a 4/5 rating, turns out Dr.'s actually can pay to hide bad reviews which Im sure he hasn't done for a while as last few reviews are all negative... not surprised after meeting him.

I never should have gone. He asked what was wrong and I began stating my concerns when I was 5 seconds into it he stopped me abruptly putting his hand up and said I dont care I wont even listen to that, tell me only two things that you have! I was shocked. He didnt ask for any type of history (it was my first visit). He ridiculed my concerns in the most agresive and disrespectful way. I stood up to him and that helped to get thru the check but I have never had such a terrible examination or treatment by anyone. Im never going back.

I met Dr. Farmer for a consultation in March 2022. He was late 45 mins for the appointment and when he finally saw me he did not even apologize. The receptionist told me and another lady in the waiting area that she had just spoken to him on the phone and that he was stuck in traffic. When he finally showed up, he told me he was helping another Dr. with a complicated delivery! I felt that was a bad start as you don't want your Dr. to start off by lying to you and I'm sure I caught him with a few more lies during my appointment. I felt uncomfortable and did not think I can rely/trust him and he kept smiling and tried to put on the nice guy image which us women can read through easily. Covering oneself with lies does not create trust which is needed between Dr. Patient and I value that.
When I asked him about the birth center and expressed some worries as a first time mom who hasn't done this (pretty normal I guess), he commented by saying "why did you then choose me? I felt that was inappropriate and insensitive as most pregnant women have every right to be concerned . Overall, II found him dishonest, rude and ego centric.

Google reviews show him at best at a 3.0 review, figure that one out! Not an ethical person, snobbish, mistakenly he feels he is a brain surgeon not obygn. Unfortunate he is not honest about his past when I asked him if he has had complaints or cases in past.

I had a phone consultation with Dr. Farmer. As an immigrant to this country I do have a bit of an accent although I am fluent in English. I felt some of the questions Mr. Farmer asked regarding my background were inappropriate and felt I was being made fun of. I was shocked as this was totally unexpected and didn't know what to say. I was not referred to by any friends and simply took a chance on him by reading some reviews and if I ever had any doubt whether some of the high ratings are paid advertisement that doubt now is gone.
Egocentric, inappropriate comments, will not use his services or recommend.
