Honestly the worse.
Misses phone appointments, blames patient to the GP. Completely useless. Always late with prescriptions. Never follows up.

I have finally changed Rheumatologists. I have been so discourgaged by this doctor and am astounded that he even has the rating he does. He does not listen. He does not entertain alternative approaches or assitance. He doesn't believe that diet can make a difference. All he wants to do is prescribe meds. He told me to contact him when I had a flare and he would see me right away and then we would do bloodwork. Which I did and bloodwork same day. His receptionist called me 10 days later saying the doctor thinks I have an infection and would like to see me...????? This is the first review I have ever left for a doctor. And he deserves it.

Rachapalli is an awful physician. He dispenses meds and nothing else. He treats his patients like an inconvenience at best and has a terrible bedside manner. He also doesn’t understand the breadth of how autoimmune diseases cluster or the biodirectional relationship with mental health issues. He is interruptive and unsupportive, and never follows up with anything so the patient is forced to chase after referrals, appointments, test results, etc. It’s hard to understand why this guy went into a caregiving profession, as he has no aptitude for it.

I was diagnosed with severe, debilitating, Rheumatoid Arthritis in 2012. Dr. Rachapalli has been my Rheumatologist since. I have found him to be very forthright and knowledgeable and, I have every confidence in his competency. If it weren't for him, his staff and, the treatment modalities prescribed, I'd likely be a hapless cripple today.

I am blown away by how incompetent this doctor is. He forgets what meds I’m on, forgets to call for a scheduled appointment, doesn’t stay on top of monthly lab results and my last phone appointment lasted 90 seconds - I timed it!!! He has replaced the old and odd receptionist but the new one is rude too. I have tried for 2 years to get a new rheumatologist to no avail. I’m not one to play armchair doctor but I have zero confidence in Dr Racchapalli. And I recently had my family doctor close his practise. At least I knew my GP was receiving the lab results and he often flagged problems. Now I feel like I’m on my own. After 2 1/2 years with this doctor and have never had a joint assessment!! He ordered an MRI that took 18 months to get and he ordered it for an area that isn’t a problem!?! The only saving grace is the super competent nurse, Jen. I think his entire practise is held together by her. He better treat her well or he’s going to be screwed.

Just trying to get a appointment is terrible. You feel like you are bothering them when you call.
