I would say Dr. Saper lives up to his goals of compassion, innovation and excellence. I had a cyst above an upper front tooth that was deteriorating the bone structure. I found him to be patient , efficient and professional. I also appreciated his consideration regarding charges. The result of my treatment was totally successful; I am completely satisfied.

I must say Dr Saper is so helpful and understanding. He did a root canal for me and a few days later I had a moment of being uncertain so I called his office and unfortunately it was after 4:00 pm. He and his assistant had already left for the day but his receptionist called him and he came back to the office to see me. I have never had any Doctor give me that kind of attention and care.

Very arrogant and unprofessional, bad bedside manner, horrible experience wouldn't recommend wasting your money on a Dr like this.

My dentist sent me to Dr Saper to perform a 3D x-ray. Upon arrival, the nurse took an x-ray but I found out later this was not a 3D as was requested. Upon visual inspection, Dr. Saper told me I needed not only one but 3 root canals to be redone as there was infection below each. This would be at a great cost (upwards of $10,000) and would take over a year to complete. He also stated the decision was up to me as "his mortgage was paid" whether I did it or not (his words). I was worried about spending that kind of money as they had already had root canals completed once and he stated he would guarantee his work as one and done meaning I would not have to deal with them again. I proceeded with the first root canal as I was in great pain. Three weeks later I had to get the tooth pulled by another specialist because it was cracked and horribly infected. The second specialist stated that a 3D would have proven the crack was there before the root canal was completed. Dr. Saper has yet to answer my phone call asking for a refund.

Always in good hands with Dr Saper and the entire gang at their office. And speaking of office- absolutely gorgeous. Dr Saper is knowledgeable and straightforward. Can't imagine anyone else being a better endodontist. I've had bad luck with my teeth but I always feel like everything will be okay in the long run. It's easy to feel hopeless when it comes to dental issues. Saper does his best to fix what he can and if it's not in his area of expertise he helps you find the right ppl to help you.

I was so petrified and after I had my root canal which only took one hour, i was so thankful. He is calm gentle and very professional- I'm not worried about going in to see him for more work!

My son states he had pain during his entire root canal procedure in which Dr Saper did not respond to. My 8 year old son did not know that he wasn't supposed to feel pain. He was told to be still and not move.
There was no after care sheet for a root canal for children - which is alarming considering Dr Saper states that he is the only Endodontist in Edmonton who does root canals on children (which I later found out is not true). There are other Endodontists in Edmonton.
Dr Saper preferred to show me a video on root canals versus discussing what needed to be done for my son - who had a very bad tooth accident at school. Communication was lacking with Dr Saper, as I was told by my dentist that we would be going to see Dr Saper for more dental X-rays and a discussion on what needed to be done with his teeth. I was not aware that we were already booked for a double root canal on the same day!

Have received services from Dr. Saper and his staff over the last 3 years since he had to provide redo root canal surgery on a tooth originally worked on by my regular dentist. Most recently I needed confirmation from him the surgery was successful so I can proceed with hip surgery. I am very confident in he and his staff's knowledge and skills. I would recommend him to anyone needing an endodontist help. He also has been very fair with his pricing and his time to address my dental needs.

A recent visit to Dr. Saper was a surprising pleasant treatment! I was so anxious and nervous before the tooth canal appointment but a conversation with Yana (?), the dental assistant, I was sure given a peace of mind and cleared all of my questions. The procedure carried out by Dr. Saper was quick, painless and completed in a very professional way. I was very happy with the work Dr. Saper’s done. Just a quick question, the final filling could have been easily done by the Ondodontist but rather being sent back to my family dentist to finish the job. This job will cost me further more on top of the $1400 root canal fee! Other than that, thanks to Yana (again!) and Dr. Saper for the job well done!
