Do not go to this optometrist. He books so many people and I was kept waiting at least 3/4 of hour past my scheduled appointment. Was very impatient when checking my eyes, due to other people waiting as well. Made me feel very intimidated. I ended up with the wrong prescription for the left eye and had to be rechecked to get the prescription corrected. There was also a long wait to get help from the other staff members as well. Got progressive lenses that I can't read from, even though I was told that I was getting very good quality lenses. I basically got single vision lenses and paid price of progressive lenses. I am not happy with this establishment. I agree with the other reviewer that I did not get what I paid for.

Dr.Gilani is a very knowledgeable and experienced Optometrist. Unlike other Optometrists that i have come across, he does a thorough eye examination and even took a retinal scan of my eyes all in a decent price, compared to other places. He explains things and is very kind, and down to earth. The staff is also very friendly and was very helpful and patient in helping me choose a frame. I didn't even know that there was so many options in regards to progressive lenses, other places have always just given me one type of progressive lens and price without giving me various options. I was very shocked when one of the staff members explained that to me. Overall this is one of the best Doctors offices that i have been to and will continue going to.

My family and I have been seeing Dr Gilani for years now. He has ALWAYS given me kind, polite, professional, caring service. He has referred me to specialists when needed and has always fully explained my eye health. Prices for his frames are reasonable. Frankly, I am shocked to read these other reviews!? I often thank him for being such a 'kind' doctor. A very gentle soul from what I have found. But please remember everyone......you get what you give in life! VH

I have seen Dr. Gilani for almost 10 years now. I also see another specialist for glaucoma as well. Eye exams have always been very thorough. He has never tried to "sell" me a new pair of glasses, often he tells me that my prescription hasn't changed enough to warrant paying for new ones. What I really appreciate is that Dr. Gilani always explains things to me in detail that I don't get from my other specialist. I also like that he works with my other doctor (not against him) and recommends natural and holistic ways (on top of the glaucoma medicaiton I take) to help with other eye concerns I have (extreme dryness).
