Dr. Dughi is by far the best Doctor I have ever seen! She spent a lot of time with me, and totally inspired me! She is a top athlete in her class and it shows all the way around. I am so lucky and grateful to have her as my new Doc.

My husband and I have been going to this doctor since she took over a previous doctor's practice. Dr. Dughi is not only warm, friendly, and concerned about her patients, she is extremely knowledgeable and keeps herself current on the latest medical revelations. Whenever there has been a concern about our health that was outside her area of expertise, she quickly referred us to the appropriate professional and followed up with us about the outcome. Dr. Dughi and her staff are absolutely the best in the business. We highly recommend her.

This Dr. is especially knowledgeable, and up-to-date. She trained at Mayo in Minnesota for at least a year in Gerontology before coming to this position in Boulder. Her manner is very warm and friendly. I have had some great docs, but she probably tops them all. I have worked in managed care for a top ins provider, so I am especially critical, both ways (about saving, but also about quality of care) and have dealt with many docs; this is one of the most intelligent and open-minded I have come across. Her office staff and telephone nurse are also quite good, as are her physician's assistants. They have treated me with great respect and a lack of condescension which one sometimes finds in medical settings. I notice they seem to treat all their patients with that same combination of respect and care, which I attribute to the excellent "team leadership" of Dr. Dughi.

Boulder Medical Center does not accept Medicare assignment - hence the additional charge. They also have the best geriatric specialist I've found in the city, Coco Dughi. Sensible and knowledgable (Mayo Clinic graduate and fellow). She(like most really good doctors) listens well and seems to sense instinctively what is wrong. She finds common sense solutions sometimes involving diet, exercise etc. instead of or in addition to medication. A small ball of fire.
