Dr. Fairchild is one of the best. He is balanced and walks a reasonable line between personal compassion and concern and medicalization. He will not over-prescribe costly tests and services unless absolutely indicated. He has enormous administrative responsibilities at Tufts and I hope he will never forget or give up his calling as a physician. I trust him completely.

Thorough, competent, considerate and professional. Takes time with patients when necessary and always follows up with test results. Doesn't automatically prescribe medication unless it is necessary. Absolutely one of the best primary care doctors in Boston.
