We waited almost an hour from the time of our pre-scheduled appt. to see her (there was no one else in the waiting room and no apology given). It was an introductory meeting and she spent a lot of time stressing how she would not deal with more than one issue at a time and that she would not address any issues at this meeting (although we were not questioning this). Her manner was okay with our son - mediocre attempt at rapport. Her manner with us (the parents) was very businesslike (again worried about limiting her time) and awkward. It was difficult to judge her knowledge as she did not impart it. It is difficult to find a pediatrician in Calgary and we unfortunately will keep searching until we find someone that we feel is confident in their abilities.

Dr. Popsor is very deligent. She is very knowledgable. I don't my doctor nice and gentle I want my doctor right and thorough. Dr. Popsor is very thorough ..she took time to check my son (not a quick listen to the lungs like other doctors). As far as accent is concerned I could understand her well without any difficulty. The best pediatrician/doctor in my experience !

Overall it was an okay visit with Dr.Popsor, although the wait time was extremely long and the amount of time it took her to assess her patient was even longer. Dr.Popsor did not provide a satisfactory visit, and more of an awkward one.

Dr. Popsor is a very gentle person and genuinely listens to your concerns. As with all doctors, you will come out happier if you go in prepared. Do a little research and don't be afraid to discuss it with her. She doesn't have that arrogance that comes with many specialists. You will have to make sure you understand her accent and you may have to repeat something if it is important.

The wait time with this doctor is long even we booked an appointment to see her ahead of time. Although I understand it is not always the doctor's fault when the clinic is busy. This doctor is very hard to understand because she has a very heavy accent and has a hard time telling us what was wrong with our son. My husband and I brought our 8 weeks old son to see her and we find that she is not gentle with newborn babies at all. She is very rough when she was checking our son's ears and very forceful when she was checking our son's limbs. Our son cried so hard during the check-up and he is a very happy baby in general. Overall, she is not a terrible doctor, but I think there are better doctors out there.
