I tried To book an appointment for my 99 year old Father in law. I was told by the receptionist Annie, that Dr. Woo was booking 14 months out and he should try another Ophthalmologist. I believe that Dr. Woo has chosen to not help this man because of his age. I wonder how many other similar stories of age discrimination exist at this office???

I've been seeing Dr. Elaine Woo for several years & find her to be excellent. She's done my cataract surgeries & also seen me in EMERGENCY situations & I truly appreciate that. Yes, sometimes there is a wait but it is due to an EMERGENCY patient consult. I appreciate too that she always explains, what she is doing, what the outcome is or should be & what I need to do in the future ~ I would totally recommend Dr. Elaine Woo to anyone, to go & see her for their eye health, care & corrections.

Small office, always overbooked and the wait time is long. I find her patient care extremely minimal and left the office feeling like I needed to see another ophthalmologist. I won't go back.

You will wait ro see her. She is busy but what specialist isn't? Her staff has never been rude to me nor have I seen them being rude to others. As far as Dr. Woo herself is concerned she did bilateral cataract repairs on myself and my wife with complete success. Even though she is busy as stated above, once you get in to talk to her she is patient and will answer all questions. Completely professional service. I don't want a Walmart greeter at the door.

I have been seeing Dr. Woo for 10 years and have always found her easy to talk to and helpfull. She performed my cataract operation and every thing went well.

The reception staff, especially the long time secretary is haughty and arrogant. She sneers at every patient that comes in and through her tone and body language effectively communicates you are inconveniencing her. Definitely not the model of courtesy and care. Next, there's the routine half hour to hour delay in your appointment time. No apology, no acknowledgement that they're running behind or that your time is important in the least. They just don't seem to care. Finally as for the care from the Dr herself she seems to be mediocre at best. With so many patients stacked up in the waiting room you receive a rushed consult with very little time for anything more than a few words or a quick prescription. Look at the other reviews and decide for yourself but consider yourself warned.

She is the worst I have ever seen in my life.She had done a cataract surgery on my father's eyes. She has damaged his left eye during the surgery and now my father is blind in that eye. She brought so many excuses, and bottom line she confessed in the operation room at hospital she let her student do the surgery and they have ripped his cornia and damaged the eye beyond repair. in the past 4 years after this surgery my father has gone through many injections and laser therapy but the eye is still blind. DO NOT Trust this so called professional. She did not take any responsibility for what she had done.She is the horrible and the worst Ophtholmalogist I have ever seen. Be aware of her. She will blind you.

A very experienced doctor who is quite willing to help in any way she can; her diagnosis was fast and accurate. She accepted my referral within a day because my rheumatologist had noticed that I may have a more severe problem than previously diagnosed. A wonderful doctor all around!
