Caring and respectful doctor and staff. Was excellent care during and after surgery.

Terrible staff! She is a great surgeon and i dont know why her staff are so rude abrupt and unhelpful. They act like they are the surgeon!! I think the doctor is so unaware of this and she should be told about it. Every patient with that kind of experience should bring it to the doctor’s attention. There is no excuse for that kind of behaviour.

I have been to see Dr. Woo on numerous occasions. It is a busy office but she is very efficient and the waiting time is not onerous. She is friendly and happy to answer any questions I have. Very knowledgeable. I know I am in good hands. The office staff is always pleasant and helpful. I have never had a bad experience.

I was sent to her following a visit to ER, and she had me wait over 2 hours only to tell me she does not perform minor surgery to remove painful stye. She is the ER Opthomologist at Mackenzie Richmond Hill. Wasted my time, had to pay hospital fees and all she did was refer me to her colleague who does supposedly perform the procedure BUT SHE DOESN’T. Ontario physicians are awful. Period. ER did nothing and she didn’t either except they now get to take money from OHIP government funding . Don’t waste your time going to her; pretty incompetent doctor

Awful service, rude and unprofessional. Wait time is over 1hr 15 min. Frances is especially rude. I recommend they do better job in scattering the appointments to reduce wait time. Frances simply said this is the way they operate: 1 to 2 hr for each appointment. No show of care nor respect. In fact, the time needed for the whole process is only 45 min. Very crowded and stuffy in the small waiting room. Not enough chairs. Some patients sat on the floor outside clinic. Dr. Woo is purely technical. No care, no advice. Do your due diligence!

Office staff is rude and unprofessional. No consideration of the limitations of the elderly or emergencies. Ver small waiting room where patients are packed in and there are not enough chairs.

I have had nothing but the best and friendly service from the staff and Dr. Woo. She never made me feel rushed and always answered any questions I had fully. My surgery went wonderfully and the after care was exemplary.

Dr. Elaine Woo is unhelpful when asked questions seeking clarification. Its difficult to assess if she has the knowledge as she is reluctant to respond and tends to brush questions off with vague answers. I felt that she wanted me out the door as soon as she could and was not subtle about it either. She may be a good surgeon but would not trust her with my care. Lucky my surgery went well and I am back to my optometrist for further care. I found the staff OK, but I had little dealings with them. In all I would not recommend her to my friends or family. Do you own due diligence before enlisting Dr. Woo as eye care provider. I am sorry I did not and took advice without verifying.

Dr. Woo and the entire staff have been nothing but exceptional in the care I needed. My experience, just saying.
