I've recommended Show Your Grin Dental to anyone asking for a dentist. Dr. Sjogren and the entire staff there are always upbeat, super friendly and know exactly what they're doing. My appointments are on time and not uncomfortable at all. They're always communicating about my treatment during a checkup so I'm aware of what's going on, which I really love. They accept and handle my insurance and my out of pocket expenses are so minimal! This is the best dentist office I've ever been a patient at. I'd recommend them to my mom and dad if they needed a new dentist! :)

For those who dread/fear going to the dentist, Dr. Sjogren is the dentist to go to. The staff are very friendly, extremely helpful and don't make you sit around in the waiting room forever before they get you in. I hadn't been to the dentist in years, but I had a filling fall out and I needed a crown put on and to get a regular teeth cleaning (which I later found out I needed four cavities filled). My sweet husband found Dr. Sjogren off this website and I am forever grateful. They did so much to make me feel comfortable and walked me through everything. They are very understanding of those who have dentistry anxiety (like me)and I would recommend them to anyone needing a dentist! They are great to work with financially also and understand people are on tight budgets and are willing to work with you on payments.

Dr. Sjogren and his entire staff making dreading going to the dentist a thing of the past. Everyone is very friendly and Dr does a great job of taking the time to make you feel comfortable.

Biography

Dr. Douglas Sjogren, DDS (pronounced "show-grin") is from Wichita, KS and earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) from The University of Nebraska College of Dentistry. Soon after graduation, he began practicing dentistry in his home town of Wichita, KS. Eventually, Dr. Sjogren, DDS was drawn to atmosphere and quality of community that the Kansas City area offers. So, with his years of experience and passion for dentistry, he relocated and opened Show Your Grin Dental in Olathe, KS. Dr. Sjogren, DDS has more than 20 years of experience in general, cosmetic, and family practice dentistry. He specializes in a variety of areas including: same-day crowns, dental implants, dental veneers, oral surgeries, root canal therapies, TMJ & bruxism, and laser therapies. With over 300 hours of continuing education in cosmetic dentistry, Dr. Sjogren, DDS and his staff remain up-to-date on the newest techniques, technologies, and latest research in dentistry. In addition to caring for patients at the office, Dr. Sjogren, DDS strengthens his faith and community as an advocate and volunteer for the Jeanne Jugan Center in Kansas City, Missouri. He has also been acknowledged by the Kansas Dental Charitable Foundation for his service at the Kansas Mission of Mercy in Kansas City, and received recognition for his six years of service with The Kansas Foundation of Dentistry for the Handicapped. In his spare time, Dr. Sjogren, DDS enjoys being outdoors, playing golf, watching the Royals at The K. But most of all, he loves spending time with his daughters, Addison and Tatum. As a Johnson County resident, Dr. Sjogren, DDS enjoys contributing to the community as a local business owner and is excited as it continues to grow.
