At first she seemed to be hearing me, but once she answered her own questions/agenda, she didn’t seem interested in listening. I told her some days I can’t walk or feel like my legs are connected to my body, & she just said “Hmm.” If a physiatrist can’t help with a mobility issue, what exactly is the point. When I expressed troubles I’ve had being heard with other doctors, she interrupted me to basically say that’s not true. (Gaslighting). Messages about results I left went unanswered. Overall, very Meh.

Dr Underwood was was extremely helpful with me as I was in so much pain every time I came into see her. She was caring and listened to me as I just needed to vent on how I felt as I was thinking that I had no quality of life anymore due to the pain I was dealing with. Dr Underwood gave me hope that my life was worth living and for that I am grateful today. She is a very busy Doctor and and she gives what she can when times allows. I felt very lucky that she was in my corner. THANK YOU DR UNDERWOOD!! Without you I would not be here today as you gave me the incentive to fight through the pain and continue on with this new life that I have been given after this accident.

Dr. Underwood has been a wonderful doctor to myself as a person with a disability from a MVA. Heather has helped me understand my disability and how to manage my pain along with keeping healthy for long term. Her team is helpful and caring knowledgeable I would recommend her and her team.

Incompetent staff, literally dozens of follow-up calls required just to get them to do the simplest thing, or even to get any information regarding your own care. Dr. Underwood is pleasant, but seems rushed, distracted and doesn't remember patients even after multiple visits. Quality of care has been extremely lacking, as has any consistency or follow-through. Definitely recommend finding someone else instead if you can.

Dr. Underwood is the best doctor I have encountered. She saved my life after I was rear-ended by a motor-home. She goes above and beyond the call of duty. She gives the best possible care. She is a great listener and wants to help me with my challenges. She cares. I highly recommend her!!! DV

Dr. Underwood is knowledgeable and is willing to spend the time to help. During my first visit she injected me with a solution and this was the only remedy to my misery for over 2 years.

Dr. Underwood was good in many ways, but particularly quality-of-life changing for me, was that she endeavoured to LISTEN and address pain management in addition to the usual recovery guidance after I sustained multiple injury including brain injury.
