I have a very active life style (snowboarding, hiking, running, climbing, soccer, and all activities). Summary of Dr. Patterson: HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM AND HIS TEAM! 100%

After I broke my ankle snowboarding in March of 2019, I received the news that I would have to get surgery in order for my ankle to heal properly. With devistation overwhelming me, Jason Patterson and Ethan Everlith calmed me down drastically from the first time I met with them.

That was the start of a very smooth recovery. I was offered and given the choice of different situations involving how they could fix it, talked through EXACTLY what they were going to do (besides the gory details ha!), and was given a timeline with a lot of hope.

The first surgery was a tough recovery as I had to get screws into my ankle and had to be non weight bearing for roughly 10ish weeks! As the healing began, I felt more confident with all of the remarks Dr. Patterson mentioned. He had it down to a T with the amount of time it would take to heal, and to where I would feel a specific way (and I did almost down to the estimated day!).

With the hardware in my ankle, I did have some restrictions. But with the recommendation / choice of taking out the hardware from the beginning diagnose, I had motivation to get the muscle back in my leg and schedule my second surgery.

The time came around to go into my second surgery, and I was walking around the hospital 'for the last time' , thinking of the experience I previously had gone through with recovery. I saw Ethan in the bottom of the hospital as he was coming in (I believe I was the first or second surgery of the day), and he asked jokingly if I was lost - I said, "just getting in a few last steps before having to be back in that boot". With confidence, he laughed and said, "this will be nothing like before. Dr. Patterson just has to basically slide out that hardware, you'll be in a boot for a little while, and you'll be set. He's a pro." --- he was exactly right. He is a pro and knows exactly what he's doing.

Dr. Patterson gave the best experience I could have (when it comes to breaking your ankle!), and I was able to get back my active life style. I am currently back into the life I was in prior to breaking my ankle.

I highly recommend Dr. Patterson to get you back to where you were, or to the best you can get to 100 times out of a 100!

Thank you again, Dr. Patterson, for getting me back to where I was prior ankle breaking!

I am so grateful for the help I received by Dr Jason Patterson. I came to him with a horrible left foot and ankle problem. I had a previous fusion by another Dr. that had become very painful and unmanageable. Dr. Patterson was very good at giving me the information I needed to make the decision to have my left foot reconstructed. I'm extremely pleased with the great outcome of surgery. Dr Patterson has been amazing in every way throughout this prolonged recovery. I highly recommend Dr Patterson to anyone with a foot or ankle problem.

The care I received while being treated by Dr. Patterson and his staff could not have been better.
At age 73 this was my first broken bone, turned out to be a trimalleolar fracture of my left ankle. Needless to say I was apprehensive about surgery and if I would be able to get back to my normal activities after all was said and done. Dr. Patterson always took the time to answer all of my questions and thoroughly explained all procedures and x-rays. I not only appreciate Dr. Patterson’s skill as a surgeon but also his care and kindness as a person. I would highly recommend him to anyone in need of ankle surgery and would return to him for future care. Big thanks to Dr. Patterson and his team!

Dr Patterson was open, honest, and cooperative. I broke my patella in half and the lower half was in 3-4 pcs. The staff was kind, generous with their assistance, and empathetic to my pain.

After having visited three Podiatrists, two in the East Valley I received three different opinions and treatment options---none of which resolved my very painful right foot big toe bunion. I had surgery with one of these Podiatrists which left me with even more problems and feel grateful to have discovered a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon specializing in only the ankle and foot...Dr. Patterson. Besides the whole office being very helpful and pleasant Dr. Patterson addressed my issue from a proactive clinician/patient point of view. My toe problem wasn't some rubber stamp fix but truly listened to why, how, and what i was hoping for in a surgical outcome. I had the surgery and now almost 3 months later, I can once again hike with a back pack in the desert for hours pain free. I just wish I could have found him sooner. He's the best....follow his requirements while recovering and you can look forward to better days ahead walking, biking, or hiking. M. Adams Gold Canyon

can't say enough great things about Dr. Patterson and his staff. He doctored me through a major break in my ankle/leg, and took the best care of me. He was very good at explaining every aspect of my break down to what would happen in my procedure. My incisions came out super clean and scarring is not ugly. For my type of break, you would expect a long recovery process, yet here I am 6 months later 100% healed and walking like normal. This was my first break and surgery so I was very nervous, but if I had to do it all over again, I wouldn't want anyone other than Dr. Patterson and his team working on me. He is a great Dr. and a great person who I would recommend to anyone in need of an Orthopedic Surgeon! Thank you Dr. Patterson and your amazing staff. I couldn't have done this without you!
