While I was nervous going to see a surgeon, Dr. Wu did an AMAZING job of answering my questions and taking the time to listen to my concerns. He made me feel comfortable with the operation and I trust his knowledge and expertise. I highly recommend Dr. Wu when looking for a colorectal surgeon.

Dr. Wu is an exceptional surgeon! My husband was diagnosed in Jefferson City with colon/rectal cancer, and a friend referred him to Ellis Fischel to meet with Dr. Wu, and we cannot say enough good things about him! He took his time explaining everything in a professional and courteous manner and didn't hesitate to answer any questions we had. He is kind, honest and trustworthy, and everything we would want in a surgeon. If we could give him a 6, we would!

Dr. Wu is a highly skilled and knowledgable physician. He came highly recommended and did not disappoint. I was diagnosed with colon cancer and after two surgeries and extensive tests I am now cancer free. His care and concern for me as a patient was exemplary! I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Wu is skillful and very responsible. He called me and answered my questions very patiently. My hemorrhoid problem was quickly solved after his treatment. I would surely recommend him to my friend.

Very rude. Horrible bedside manner. Would not take "no" or "I do not consent" for an answer. I was not willing to have an internal anal exam done. He was visibly angry. He tried to force me to have the internal exam for over an hour. He finally admitted I had no warning signs for cancer that he wanted to bill my insurance for extra procedures. I was there for an external issue related to childbirth. I will NEVER go back to him
