First, I’d give Dr. Mulder ZERO stars if it were an option.
We waited over a month to see Dr. Mulder in hopes of finding out what is wrong with my daughter’s ears. She’s 13 and has been living with agonizing daily pain since the start of the year. It’s hard as a mom to watch her live through this day after day. While I might entertain Dr. Mulder ruling out any type of ear problem, his lack of empathy, compassion, or direction rates him as one of the worst doctors I’ve ever seen. He spent a mere 5 minutes with us then in these exact words said, “It’s not an ear problem, can’t help you. We could do a cat scan but the radiation could cause her cancer later in life.” What a frightening thing to say to a kid! I tried my best to get possible explanations and he plainly said it was our primary care doctor’s issue. We’ve been to the PCP a multitude of times and was referred to him when nothing else was working. My daughter walked out of his office in tears, looked at me and said, “He didn’t even try! He doesn’t even care.” Frankly, I had to agree with her. Don’t take your children to this place if you need a doctor who can help provide answers and can at least pretend to care. I wouldn’t wish our experience on anyone. We are no better off than before our visit, Dr. Mulder only made it worse.

I think Dr. Mulder is a good doctor but his staff is terrible. they told me a scan was covered by my insurance last year but it wasn't and cost me $4,400. He did write a letter saying why the scan was necessary but it had grammar and typos in it.

This year I made a followup appointment but I received in the mail lab instructions that didn't specify fasting or non-fasting and didn't say where to go for the lab work. When I talked to his nurse, she couldn't look up the paperwork. Wanted me to accept her assumption. Then she told me to bring in the paperwork. She didn't suggest that I scan the paperwork and send it to them or that she's discuss it with the doctor. Not going back.

Dr. Mulder is a promising and bright physician, but unfortunately his expertise is overshadowed by terrible office management. After my last visit, it has taken them 4 weeks, and many follow ups on my part, to get a simple sinus RX filled for me (it still isn't filled). They have a sign in their office asking people to not leave msgs. The last time I called, I was placed on hold for 20 minutes and finally hung up. He should hire more staff before the poor level of customer service impacts his practice. I'm sad to have to go to Lilly Rd. since Dr. Mulder is closer and I really like him, but no one should have to wait 4 weeks for a RX. My condition is now much worse than when I saw him weeks ago because I've had to go so long without medication.] that HE recommended during our visit.

Dr Mulder is a man of wonders. Not only is he extremely good at his job, he's cut from the same cloth as a God. He walks into a room and it starts to glow. He voice is that of angels singing, his understanding is comparable to a saint. He has changed my life in two visits. I can only imagine how much more he could enhance it if he were just an ordinary man you see on a daily basis.
