Richard Lamour MD is very incompetent, in my opinion. I have an Achilles Tendon injury. After the MRI DR Lamour wanted the do the fly by medical care. After a few moments he indicated there was no significant damage. I insisted he look at the MRI's and he could not find the ones of my Calf area. I once again insisted they were there and he needed to find them. Essentially he said oh they are here looked them over briefly and again wanted to dismiss my injury as more than minor. I later obtained my MRI report done by Dawn Hastreiter, MD which included language such as "discontinuity in scanning" (I had 2 MRI scans one of ankle zone and one further up my lower leg). "High grade tear of the the myoteninous junction", "Just above this small skipped area of ht calf. This area is high grade too." "the right side of the tendon has near 90% tearing" also , paraphrased, sagital view showing less than 10% of the tendon intact.. Dr Lamour was obviously unaware of the MRI report as well as the MRI images. As previously stated he was ready to send me on my way within a few moments of the visit without knowing anything about the facts of the situation. I did not add ligament tears which were also in the MRI report. DR Lamour appeared to have no awareness of any of these injuries to my body, health and long term functionality.
