Exceptional doctor, willing to take the time to listen, try new techniques in management of your pain and provide the care necessary to help you get back to a productive and quality lifestyle. I miss Dr. Pravat very much and hope that he returns, soon, to active practice! Kate W

I felt he understood better than a lot of pain management doctors do. Most of them are horrible to go to.

Dr. Pravat has been wonderful in my treatments of neck and back pain. I sit fior hours at my job, the pain was excruciating. Dr. Pravat and his staff are amazing! I now go one to two years before needing to see them again. Which before, I lived in pain daily. Thank you Dr. Pravat!

I cannot put into words how grateful I am to Dr. Pravat and his staff. Dr. Pravat is my pain management doctor. He has helped me immensely with my back pain, ankle pain and my neck pain. I never feel rushed or made to feel like I am just a number. He takes the time to explain different options available to me. He answers every question me and my husband have and in layman's terms. Thank God there are still doctors who have that great bedside manner and doctors who truly care about his patients!

I have been going to Dr. Pravat for 3 years and he has helped me immensely. If I did not have Dr. Pravat helping me, I would not be able to do everything that I do on a daily basis. He has listened to me, and we have a mutual trust. He makes me feel safe and I trust him with my medical care.

Dr.Pravat is a good listener, you never feel rushed when you are talking to him about your problems. He's very knowledgeable & recommends procedures that will help me. He's helped me before & I just recommended my PCP to refer me back to him again.

I have had a great experience with Dr. Pravat. Appointments are easy, he doesnt try to keep appointments as monthly once medications are stabilized, and he listens to what you say. Granted if I failed a urine test I would be out - that's pretty much how it goes in pain management, I've seen patients immediately booted at other practices also. With my condition I'd be disabled without treatments so I'm ultra cautious to keep a clean record. All that said - I definitely sympathize with the first reviewer, just not sure it can be blamed on one doctor instead of the DPS and medical community. I definitely recommend Dr. Pravat - earn his trust and he is great.

After over a year going to the doctor, I declined a spinal stimulator. I wanted to stay on medication until my Rheumatologist had finished tweaking my medication for Psoriatic Arthritis. A few months later, I was dismissed as a patient because I supposedly failed my urine test. I had RNY bypass and was taking Oxycontin. Unbeknownst to me this was not a good idea as it is unpredictable in the system. No blood test or hair test was offered. If they had been offered they would have and still would show I had been taking my medication. I was treated as a piece of meat and made to feel as if I was a criminal. It was quite a humiliating. I was astounded at the lack of caring this doctor showed after I had been his patient for so long. He did not offer me any services such as injections after this, just booted me as a patient. So much for the Hippocratic Oath.
