You guys? Dr Chowning is the best. Look no further. You absolutely will not find a better pediatrician. I have two young sons (3yr and 1yr) and it feels like we are in the office all the time. He always takes his time with us. Never rushing. Takes the time to answer all of my crazy anxious mom questions. He always makes me feel like my concerns are valid and investigates thoroughly. I also like that he supports my decisions with vaccinating on a different schedule. He has such a great manner with my kids, too. He always greets them first and my older son especially really enjoys going to the doctor because of it. I am so incredibly pleased with him and his staff. Even my husband is impressed with him and that never happens. Would highly recommend!

Great doctor! Always takes time to answer questions. Helped us find an answer when other doctors didnt know what was wrong with our daughter. Highly recommend!

I am a pediatric nurse and a mom - double threat! Dr. Chowning was absolutely wonderful to us on our first visit (as was his office-staff. We waited <5 minutes to be seen). He and his office staff are incredibly breast-feeding-friendly and offered us all the time we needed to soothe our baby and breastfeed post-vaccines(no more breastfeeding in the car after painful visits!). He spent so much time with us, answered all of our questions, and alleviated all of our fears and worries as first-time parents. I very much look forward to my daughter growing up with Dr. Chowning as her pediatrician. I cannot recommend him enough.

We have been going to Dr. Chowning at the Heritage Trace location and I want to give him 5 stars, he is AWESOME and his clinic is great! I loved the clinic design. They have 2 different entrances with separate waiting rooms, one for sick kids and the other one for well child visits. That way if your child is there for a well visit you wont be sitting in the same room as the sick kids. They also have separate exam rooms, so you can rest assured that the room your child is in was not used previously by a sick child. Dr. Chowning is a real gem and one of the best doctors I have ever met! Every time I have gone there we have always gotten to see the same doctor, which is something that some of the larger clinics cant offer. He gets along great with my kids, he is very gentle, he gives us plenty of time to answer questions. I have not found a previous doctor who is as patient and knowledgeable as he is and I'm glad we found this clinic.

Dr. Chowning is great! He took a lot of time to explain diagnosis and treatment, and was very open to listening to our concerns about various topics. I felt that I could talk to him as a friend and not be scared of asking lots of questions or sounding dumb.

Dr Chowning is an excellent pediatrician. He always takes time to explain to us issues with our child and helps us understand what is going on. He works very well with both kids and parents.
