One of the ladies at the front desk always smells like cigarette smoke, and had not smiled ONCE since I have been going there. I used to SWEAR by Dr. Murchison. Lately, I feel talked down too, and as if I am putting her out. It's as if she is getting tired of the profession and is not passionate about it any longer. Oh, and don't get me started about the "after hours" calls. Every time I call it, I get a letter saying my situation was not an "emergency" it could have waited till office hours. Trust me, if it was an EMERGENCY, I would have called 911.. not waited half an hour for a nurse to call me back. If you don't want people to call the #, don't give it out!

At first I liked her, felt confident she was keeping me as informed as she possibly could. During a custody battle she had my daughter's father under a completely opposite understanding re her health issues and told him things I honestly believe she withheld from myself. I think she's a great doctor but she should take care of the whole family and make certain if she has a concern it is addressed.

We love Dr. Murchison. I saw several pediatricians before sticking with her. I have 4 children and trust her completely with their healthcare. She has never talked down to me or told me her political beliefs. When we have had any severe health problems she has even called us at home to check on our child and our well being. She even stopped by my labor and delivery room before I had my twins. She is a very caring doctor and I drive 30 miles to go to her instead of someone close by. I highly reccomend her. She will dig into every aspect of a health issue to find the problem and does not take any symptom or complaint lightly.

This is a doctor that I do trust with my children. Extreamly knowledgeable great personality and will stay with the family util all is discussed. I do not feel rushed when in her office to get out. She will take the time to sit with the patient and find out all of the information and then sit there until you fully understand to what is going on. The other Dr in the office is as well just as wonderful and extreamly recommended. There are days were the wait is a little longer but very worth the time spent waiting.

Dr. Murchison is simply wonderful. We used to see one of her old partners but saw Dr. Murchison during an emergency sick visit. She was the perfect fit for us. Very nurturing, methodical, makes both the child & parent feel comfortable. Great listener and when not sure of something has no problem with referring to specialist. We drive more than 25 miles to see Dr. Murchison because we think so highly of her. There are pediatricians much closer but to us it's worth going the extra mile knowing we are going to get excellent care! She has been extremely accurate with all her assessment of my kiddos. I've referred quite a few patients to her over the years. All have come back and said they love her!

Dr. Murchsion is always kind and listens to everything I have to say. She takes my concerns seriously and addresses each one. She is wonderful with my 4 year old who doesn't like doctors. I would recommend Dr. Murchison to anyone looking for a pediatrician.

I have two boys who have seen Dr. Murchison since they were born. We have never had any bad doctor visits with Dr. Murchison. I completely trust her as a doctor, and she has referred my son to a specialist when needed. She has a wonderful attitude and I get the feeling she loves her job. She has never talked down to us and she even told me that I was "such a good mom"! I would recommend her to anyone. I notice that her advice is always somewhere along what the AAP recommends.

Absolutely fabulous...she has a wonderful bedside manner and is very willing to listen to a parent's thoughts. I have a child with "physical issues" and she is very quick to allow us to see a specialist (required PC referral for insurance) to further study any and all possible angles to help resolve my child's ailment. She is respectful of me as a parent and of my ideas/concerns about my child. I am the mother of 4 and wouldn't go anywhere else...my kids adore her. You won't be sorry if you chose to make her your Primary Care Pediatrician. Don't know who these other folks are talking about because it is not our physician!
