I see my wonderful Psychiatrist every six months at CPC Associates. Have been going for many years. He has been treating me successfully for anxiety disorder that's brought on by Fibromyalgia. I saw Dr. Chaudhary because My doctor was on vacation. I did not know her. Unfortunately, the staff put my name into her appointment book. After she called me into her office she sat behind her desk and I sat directly across from her. She suddenly leaned across her desk in a bizarre way and said: "Well, you look normal". I guess your low dose of Prozac is working for you. I see you only come here every six months. I was stunned by her demeanor but said yes, that I was there for my script renewals. I told her I also take 0.5 milligrams of Ativan as needed, that my doctor has been treating me with these two medications for some time. She told me she wouldn't be giving me the Ativan. She said it causes Dementia in elderly people. I was 65 yrs. of age then. I said, well, is there something to take the place of Ativan that won't cause Dementia? She said no!!!
I told her I get the script and even though my doctor writes it out for three doses a day, I only take it once a day, unless I have a lot of anxiety from Fibromyalgia pain. I told her I like to know I'll have the extra pills just in case. She said in an inappropriate voice "what are you doing, stock piling them??? I felt totally disrespected by her. I said of course not. I discard them, they expire!
I told her I lived in NY during the 911 attacks and I know things can happen suddenly. She said " what's this, the dooms day philosophy??? I could not believe what I was being subjected to for SIMPLY trying to get scripts for my routinely prescribed medication. She abruptly wrote out my Ativan script and said "here".
After the appointment, I went to the front desk and told the receptionist PLEASE, NEVER AGAIN put me in Dr. Chaudhary's app. book. It was the worst experience I've ever had in a doctor's office. They said no problem.
When I saw my regular doctor, I told him about Dr. Chaudhary's odd behavior.
He said other patients told him similar stories and stated that they will never see her again. My Dr. also told me that the Ativan Dr Chaundhary didn't want to give me, posed no danger to me at the low dose I was taking, I saw some reviews stating how smart Dr. C is about medication, however, my experience was the opposite.
Her judgement was poor in my case and would have caused me anxiety from lack of my usual, needed medication.
She is cold and uncaring, has no bedside manner and I DO NOT recommend any person suffering from anxiety step foot in her office.

Jessica is fantastic so long as you understand she does not do speach therapy. She is strictly pharmaceutical if that is the route that you choose to take. Once you understand this she is knowledgeable and very reliable. She won't hold your hand but she'll get your life back on track as she did with mine.

I did not find Dr.Chaudary to be a compassionate person. She is just there to collect a paycheck and write scripts. I figured I would see one of the therapist there, so i left one of them a message and she never returned my call. I would not recommend CPC Associates to anyone.

Dr. Chaudhary is very responsive and prompt. She never says no to a patient and makes time for each one of her patients no matter how difficult the case. I trust her to follow through and coordinate care with other doctors.

Dr Chaudhary is very busy and gets right to the point. She does not do hand holding but she is extremely responsive and will get back to you right away. She knows her medications and how to treat mental problems. She is the best at guiding you with treatment but if you want a therapist see one in her office, she is not a therapist

Dr. Chaudhary is a very organized and clear doctor. She was able to explain our mother's very difficult diagnosis and offered a treatment plan that gave our mother relief. She is highly trusted.

Dr. Chaudhary is a terrific pharmacologist and is able to manage complex psychiatric conditions skillfully. She is highly trained and was able to care for our mother when no other doctor could.

We brought our daughter to see Dr. Jessica Chaudhary about some possible anxiety/ stress issues. Dr. Chaudhary had no interest in trying to find the root cause of the problem. Her only suggestion was pills. "We just manage medication" to paraphrase her. Very unprofessional in my opinion. Further, she had no suggestions of other doctors or therapists that we might want to see instead of going with her drug plan. Very dissatisfied. I will also let our primary care doctor know, because he suggested her.
