I've been seeing Dr. Ammerman for years now. I think he is great! I've never had a problem with office staff, but I will admit I find his new secretary Madeline, to be the best I've dealt with there.
She always gives him messages as well as she always is quick to get back to you. Dr. Ammerman is very knowledgeable and will work with you for as long as you need him. It's a shame the insurance companies sometimes prevent him from sometimes prescribing a medicine he feels will help. After all he knows you and the Dr. At the insurance company has never even met you. He fights for you and in the end the med. the insurance company didn't want to give me is the one that seems to have helped the most. Thanks Dr. Ammerman!

I had Dr Ammerman a few years ago. I thought he was great. At the time I thought he was the best Dr I ever had. He had encouraged and reasured me that he would back me up when I needed him. After my insurance company had changed, CPC Associates would not accept my insurance. I was left to flounder, struggling to find a new provider. Even the records I requested were vague. I don't know it was his doing or CPC Associates, but it left me feeling less than human. I am more than disappointed, I'm distraught.

Dr. Ammerman is a very good doctor if YOU choose to seek help on a variety of levels- he's extremely easy to talk to and hes very good at reading his patients for who they are. I feel as though the reason I have put up with the office staff's arrogant attitudes and lack of personality is because he will go out of his way to help you if you're willing to receive help. I have seen other professionals in this specialty before but he is the only MD I've felt I could be honest with down to the details (from life events to clinical treatment). By doing this he ultimately helped to mentor me in figuring out my career ambitions. I would strongly recommend him. However, I prefer the satellite office because the receptionist is the same and she has grown on me. If you're not sure why you're there please don't make others wait for an appointment or make it impossible to reschedule. Quite frankly, it's annoying as hell for the patient and it makes it hard for him to respond to your calls/emails.

Nice man, very easy to deal with. Office staff was pleasant enough, but it is clear that none of them want to spend any time with you. You would think in a RECESSION, you could find pleasant people to do a job, but no.

I have seen Dr. Ammerman once so far and will one hundred percent be going back. He is a great person and is very easy to talk to. He told me about him before starting to talk about me, which i have never had done in the 15 years i have been seeing different doctors. He is personable and friendly. I didnt have much problems with the staff other than they were semi-rude and the lady seemed like she did NOT want to be there. As far as Dr. Ammerman goes I would recommend one hundred percent!

Dr. Ammerman is outstanding as a Doctor. The problem is the process that it takes to get to him. The staff acts like they are doing you a favor as opposed to providing proper customer service. Downright rude & arrogant at times. When trying to contact the Doctor in between appointments is an issue. No returned calls or emails for some times for over 10 days. It's too bad Dr. Ammerman did not have his own office. The outside billing company is a joke. The office staff at CPC claims no interest or responsibility for claims paid or not - It's MY job to find out what they pay, and dont pay. I then asked then "Why would I give you any money at all"? After calling to express my concern over Dr. Ammerman not returning calls or emails for almost 2 weeks the office manager called me back & stated that after a discussion with the Doctor it seemed that we had too many complaints about the customer service, and were advised to seek treatment elsewhere. Nice huh!

Dr ammerman excellant. his office staff is another story-they are NOT helpful at all and downright rude (guess they don't realize that the patients are their "customers"). be sure to get reciepts for EVERYTHING-and save forever- they have 3rd party billing which will come back to haunt you 3 years after the fact. also-the 3rd party billers don't actually answer phone # on bill-don't return voicemails (until you have left multiples) and the office can't help you because "they don't do billing".
