This Monster is abusive and extremely sexully abusive. He would have you on the exam table striped from the waist down and the exam table is pointed out to the view of the awaiting people in the reception area so when he flings open the door you and your privacy is on full display for all to see. When he so calls examine you he shoves his fingers in to you then forcefully demands "does this hurt? Does this hurt now??" He kept on shoving his extremely large sausage like fingers into my personal private opening while demanding "does this hurt! Does this hurt more???" He was sickly enjoying inflicting pain on me! It was like a game to this sick jackel!!! It took years to get this sick things license removed. Alberta Health Services did everything to protect this sick twisted abuser instead of investigating all the numerous complaints about him they ensured this sick #!* was able to sexually assult countless more helpless women! #MeToo Alberta Health Services is just as abusive as this sexual abusive perk too! Thanks Alberta Health Services for protecting this sick Male! You people are just as sick & abusive as this perk ! Good on you for protecting this sick abusive make member! You claim to not tallerait abuse but you dish it out and protect sexual abusers! Good on you #AlbertaHealthServicesLies 2 AbuseThierClients

Dr. Demco's office was always busy so that in itself speaks volumes for his practice.

Years prior to being referred to Dr. Demco, a specialist had carelessly tied my tubes leaving me with two clips detaching and clamping onto two other areas in my body. This had left me in excruciating pain for many years.

I will forever be greatful to have been referred to Dr. Demco. He was quick to the point which was appreciated. He was full of exceptional knowledge, was very kind and did an amazing job operating on me to make sure l would no longer suffer the way l had. The staff was very kind and polite. I feel he is more than deserving 5 stars.

Back in 1989 this guy almost killed me. He is an insult to real Dr s . How can this guy still be at RGH??? Beware this guy used to slink around the Rocky waiting for the emergency C sections. Hopefully that has been taken away from his scope. Better yet if you arrive at the hospital and he is on demand a real Doctor or drive to FMC.

About 6 years ago I had heard on the news that Dr. Demco was in trouble for malpractice. I had my own experience with him decades ago at around 20 years of age. The experience was unbelievably BAD that if it wasn't for my parents getting another doctor in that I wouldn't be here today. It wasn't the case that " everyone makes a mistake", it was unconscionable and reprehensible. Upon hearing the news that he was under investigation I thought finally they got him. I decided to check up on his status (surely he was in jail or at the least stripped of his medical accreditation. I was shock that he could still practice but under certain conditions. I felt violated again. I was too young to understand and did nothing. I imagine there are other women that haven't gone forward with any complaints except the few listed here. Noung women. I do not want what happened to me be allowed to happen to others. There is a failing in the system that would allow this man to even be allowed to have any accreditation. I would like to make changes for patients in the future and I believe that I would not be heard unless I have others who have had experiences like me . Please contact me at wendytemple@hughes.net . Everything would be kept confidential. As for those who had good experiences with him please realize how many of patients like me that have been silent and that you got off lucky.

After 2 yrs in Victoria and 2 yrs after specifically moving to Calgary to see the 'expert' endometriosis Dr, all of whom were useless to someone who was in excruciating pain 24 hours a day, I found Dr. Demco myself and was part of the patient-assisted diagnostic surgeries he did. I found him to be a little strange, yes, but without his assistance and his knowledge in follow up appts I probably would have ended up taking my own life to end the pain. 15 years later, I am just beginning to experience symptoms again which is a testament to the fantastic job he did. I'm saddened by the news of this kind of "loss" of one the VERY few doctors in Western Canada with pelvic pain mapping expertise and one of the pioneers in this area.

I saw dr demco for the last 4 years. He performed 1 lap on me (my 5th), everything seemed great after, no pain except I still had very painful intercourse. I went back to him a year later, still having pain with intercourse and he said it was all in my mind, that I needed to relearn how to have sex. I did a course for vaginismus, which had no effect, I went back to see dr demco. he was rude and condescending. He said my husband's penis must have gotten bigger and that he "must be hitting the ovaries". Hr accused me of lying when I said my husband and I had previously been vigorous in intercourse and now we couldn't do much. He went on when I pushed him for anwsers to say he "had cured" me and I was "refusing to believe I was healed" and that he did everything perfect and I was wasting his time. He said I should just get over it "for the sake of" my husband. I have a new DR now who found things that were missed by Dr Demco that are the suggsted cause of the pain.

I have been a patient of Dr. Demco for 13 years. He performed 3 laporoscopies on me after 2 previous, unsuccessful ones performed by a different Dr. Dr. Demco was kind, gentle, sensitive and funny. Other than his mumbling, he was a wonderful Dr. He also did the pre-natal care for all 4 of my pregnancies, of which he delivered 3 (by c-section) the 4th one he didn't show up for the delivery. I was surprised but also realize he is human and something may have come up. I haven't held it against him. He will be greatly missed as my Dr. I am saddened to see him go. I thank him for his service, his studies and work in regards to Endometriosis. He was a Dr. not a miracle worker, and he did a great job in my books!

I was a patient of him back in 2008 for a tubal reversal...well 2 yrs later, it has been a waste of $$$. During the reversal, my right tube also started hemorrhaging and was told he had to "quickly fix the problem..but don't worry..the other tube looks good. (what is that about!!!???).. AFTER A YEAR OF TRYING TO GET PREGNANT, I ended up having an ectopic pregnancy last March 27th and lost my right fallopian tube. When I went back to see him...he totally blew off my concerns and said..just keep trying, if it is meant to happen it will. AND THAT WAS IT...no advice, nothing. For all I know, he screwed up my chances to even have a chance at another baby, or if I do get pregnant..then will probably have another ectopic on the left. :( Go to a real medical place like the Calgary Fertility clinic, at least they are more professional there!

Being in shock after news report I heard Friday, and spending quite a bit of time thinking about my personal experience with this DR, I HAD to post. I can only say I am a person wary and mistrusting of many medical personel in general. This Dr. is only one, outside the pediatrician my children currently see that I have anything positive to say about. He delivered both our youngest children. I not only loved his quirky sense of humor but appreciated he could be personable enough to know I needed a feeling of positive commradery during his time as my physician. Our youngest children are 12 and 11 now and there is not a soul that knows me that has not heard of my affection to the experience we had with Dr. Demco. These same folks also are well aware of my hesitation to go to a doctor so this speaks volumes. I do not recognize my Dr.Demco in the stories I have read here, and while sympathetic to the others, I feel I had to again thank Dr. Demco and lend my support.

I saw Dr. Demco on two occasions in June/10 for a fibroid issue. He was very unprofessional and could not remove my IUD. It seemed that he did not know what he was doing. I then went to another gynecologist who was wonderful. Other patients with similar stories can email me at aura99@ymail.com
