Wanted to assess my young child virtually. My child was on the zoom call for maybe 5 mins and not surprisingly we got nowhere. Did not listen to any concerns I had and was overall frustrating to deal with

We really had a great experience with Dr. Lancaster. Our son had significant behavioral issues that had gone on for years at home and in school. We had worked with several mental health professionals to address our son's problems over the years. We worked closely with the school, and we had him meeting with a counselor every week for years as well...nothing seemed to work. When we started working With Dr. Lancaster it was the first time that we all met as a family for therapy. In the past I would wait in the waiting room and there was a brief "hello" and "goodbye" with the therapist that was designed to minimize communication because of confidentiality. With Dr. Lancaster, we were all in the session room together talking about our perspectives on the issues and coming to decision on actionable behaviors that we were all going to take to solve the problems. The best part is they worked, not all of the recommendations worked right away, but we would discuss them and trouble shoot and move forward, and in the end we really did make great progress in only 3-4 months. Best part is he did it all in our pediatricians office so it was really easy.

Highly recommended especially for ADHD, we have had excellent results without medication and are very pleased.

Very down to earth and very focused on solving the problem, his recommendations made a lot of sense and were effective. Highly recommended.

We had a great experience with Dr. Lancaster. He is definitely not into diagnosis or labeling, much more focused on actually solving the problem. We took his recommendations and put them to work and had an excellent outcome for our child. The recommendations do require you to work as a parent, but as he explained it...how else do you expect to fix the problem?

Dr. Lancaster is useless. He did not listen to my concerns regarding my child. He authorized assessments that were not even a concern (for ADHD). The results for ADHD were negative (DUH!). He provided no insight or support for my child's behavioral issues. When I got mad at the end of the second visit he stated, "oh. I wasn't aware of this trouble." Really!?! if you would have listened in the first place, maybe you wouldn't have wasted all of our time. He still didn't provide support, even after knowing what the behavioral issues were.

I can further back up Dr. Lancaster's lack of knowledge as I am a fully qualified to diagnose. I was working in collaboration with him with one of my clients. This client was CLEARLY ADHD and PTSD (also confirmed same diagnosis with his primary care doctor). Dr. Lancaster's report was Adjustment Disorder and told the parents to "parent him better."

If you want real insight, find someone else!
