Dr. Merrill is a great gastroenterologist, however, I cannot say the same about his front office staff.. When I call, I am put on hold anywhere from 8 minutes to over 10. They answer the phone and then immediately ask to put me on a “brief hold” for 8+++ minutes which I do not consider brief. Sometimes I do not have time to hold and I tell them “No” I do not have time to hold and they will answer my question immediately. Having taught Office Administration and Procedures courses at the University of Montana for many years, I find it difficult to deal with inefficient office staffs. This is not a large office, therefore, the wait times are ridiculous. Sometimes I have to call more than once because my request or my insurances requests are ignored.

Between this doctor and his staff it shows just tell healthcare has gone into the dump.

Had a colonoscopy done by Dr. Anthony P. Merrill at Arrowhead Gastroenterology Associates. He was very professional and caring. Also, was able to give me a complete colonoscopy where another Dr. could not. His office staff is great to deal with too. Barb scheduled the procedure, completed all of the paperwork for me and explained it in detail. Becca confirmed by appointment and got messages to Barb when I had additional questions. Dr. Anthony P. Merrill and his staff are wonderful!
