I have worked with Dr. Vergara several times during my life on many difficult issues from eating disorders, abuse, marriage breakup and you name it. She is truly professional and I would trust her with my life. She's a great person to have on your side.

After discharging from an intensive eating disorder program, Tacie was recommended to me. She is so knowlegeable about ED and so intuitive about what I needed to be successful in recovery. ED is rarely about the food so she adeptly guided me to discover my core issues and work on them specifically always being able to show me how the ED interacted with the core issues. She is directive at the right time and listens when I need that. I cannot say enough good about Tacie. She is smart, intuitive and compassionate and has been an integral part of my recovery.

Worked with this therapist several years ago and found her approach to be somewhat overly confrontational and condescending. She also required the completion of various psychological tests that seemed irrelevant to my reasons for seeking treatment.

Tacie had good intentions but she gave up on us when in became difficult. We went for three months to couples therapy after many tragic events in our life, she tried to understand us, but she got emotionally involved, and convinced herself that we weren't good for each other. We separated and I contacted Tacie to continue with individual sessions, and she replied... "If you're separated, I don't see the point" And when my spouse called to tell her we were trying again, she said " We are not a workable couple...." Maybe that was an advanced technique because we are doing great. Thanks Tacie, Sort of...
