You are in excellent hands with Dr. Prasad but he is EXTREMELY expensive. Ridiculous. He used to take in insurance but not it is just crazy. If you don't have real issues, go elsewhere. If you have something tricky, you are in very good hands. Also, he rushes through your appointment but he will return your phone call in a timely way.

Finding Dr Prasad was one of the most serendipitous events of my life. I came to him by referral form an new GP, to check a small bump inside my nostril where a benign papilloma had been removed years before. Dr Prasad determined that the bump was only scar tissue, but he peered into my other nostril and said, "Do you know you have a deviated septum?" Two other doctors had told me about it, but neither had been as curious or thorough as Dr Prasad, who investigated further via CT scans to eventually find a 6 cm "inverted papilloma" which often are, or become, cancerous. Incredibly, he was able to surgically remove it and other affected sinus tissue and bone through my nostril without any subsequent pain or any problems at all; once the gauze was removed from my nostril, there was no indication that anything at all had happened, and yet I could breathe freely for the first time in years. It felt miraculous to me, knowing how bad it could have been. I have visited Dr Prasad many times since for check-ups, and he and his staff have always been kind and considerate to me; and, to friends I have referred to him. I know him to be a brilliant, caring surgeon, and I feel supremely lucky to have found him.

After years of serious lung infections I was referred to Dr. Prasad. I had sinus surgery and the result was not only could I breathe but the lung infections went away. Dr. Prasad is not only a highly skilled surgeon but he treats each patient in a manner that is rarely seen in medicine. He manages to balance the traits of an incredibly skilled surgeon with a that of the caring family practitioner of my childhood. If one has an ENT issue, I couldn't recommend Dr. Prasad more highly. If one is looking for not only an incredibly qualified and sensitive ENT, but a staff that is tremendously competent as well, you couldn't be more fortunate to find Dr. Prasad's practice.

I previously wrote a review on this doctor but for some reason my review was taken off Yelp. As I previously stated I sincerely believe that this doctor has a basic demeaning behaviour towards me. I happen to be middle-eastern and the first question he asked me was "HOW DID YOU FIND ME?". To be completely honest, it was a humiliating experience for me to be there. The whole session was less than five minutes and it felt like he was interrogating me. I did not see this doctor recently but to be completely honest it was one of the worst experiences I have had seeing a doctor. His behavior was uncalled for and I would not recommend him to my worst enemy. He was full of himself. When I wrote the review he personally joined yelp and responded to me saying the he was the victim of racial discrimination himself so I understand why he would treat me in the same way if he himself was discriminated against. I will never go back to Cornell again.

He is just too arrogant. He did not listen to me at all. He was just too full of BS.

I've been seeing Dr. Prasad for about 8 years now and was recommended to me by some of the top doctors at Albert Einstein Medical Center. I suffer from severe nasal polyp accumulation which requires me to go for removal about every 18 months. Dr. Prasad and his team are nothing short of fantastic. He is open, honest about my options and sensitive to my needs as a patient. But when we get to the OR, he's all business, which is what I want when I'm out cold. He goes the extra mile to put you at ease, making sure you fully understand the procedure you're about to submit to and the outcomes. My dad was in the medical profession so I know how docs can sometimes seen indifferent. I've seen the patient loads increase along with the amount of time it takes for a practice to deal with mountains of insurance paperwork. Don't let initial impressions fool you...this guy is for real and you couldn't be in better hands.

I have no words for the amount of help Dr. Prasad has given me. I think he saved my life. I just had the sinus surgery procedure done by Dr. Prasad on June 8, 2012 and the recovery is still in process but I feel like a new woman. I am so grateful and would recommend this amazing Dr. to anyone unlucky enough to suffer from sinus disease. It is a horrible ailment but when an ENT Dr. has this type of knowledge and bedside manner there is more than light at the end of teh tunnel....there is life again!

the best doctor i have ever encountered. i was suffering so long and other ENT's had not a clue what was wrong with me. Dr. Prasad was referred to me by my physician and I am so glad he did. Prasad was the kindest, smartest, and most knowledgeable out of any specialists I have ever met with. He took care of me, did his procedure, and basically saved my life. I can go on and on about this man. But, I am so thankful I was given a chance to be operated on by him. He's a great guy and I definitely recommend him. Honestly, I am not a fan of most doctors and I usually come out disappointed from my visits, however Prasad is a truly an exception. He is one of a kind. Do see him and do not listen to the negative reviews. He knows what he's doing.
