Dr Melnick came in to appt 1 hour 10 mins late- didnt apologize or shake my hand. He was wearing a dirty old polo that was too small, dirty boots. No lab coat, shirt or any professional attire. Asked why I was there and spent the remainder of my appt arguing with me, dismissing me or making me feel like I'm wasting his time. Asked very few background info, and this was my 1st visit! I have seen many dr's in my 42 years... he was by far the most unprofessional, dismissive & uncaring dr I've ever visited. I feel most sorry for his staff- they were very kind & helpful, but they have to work with him! My heart goes out to them and any other future patients who have no choice but to have Dr Melnick as their "healthcare professional". I understand the pressures of being a family dr, but if you're no longer happy doing it: please retire!

Dr Melnick has been my dr for over 20 years. He is caring and understanding for my self and husband. he always takes the time to talk to you even if he is running late. The patient he is with always gets his full attention and I never feel rushed. The front staff is great and always greets you with a smile.

The appointment was scheduled on July 31-st with Dr Michael Melnick. Dr Melnick did not introduce himself, did not tell who is he, did not even say hi, sat directly near the monitor and started typing something. Then told me "how can I help you". I started explaining my situation with the cough - after a minute he told me in rude form that i should speak up, he did not hear me, without even turning his head to me. i told him this is not kind of service i expect from the doctor. i explained that i expect doctor to listen to me, understand what is going on from my words, not from the computer. Dr Melnick took it as if i just want to cancel the appointment and I had to go away.

Dr. Melnick has been our family doctor for about two years. We only saw him only a few times during this time, but can defiantly tell that he is “old school”. He asks a lot of questions, gets right to the point and ignores all whining. Don’t try to tell him what you read on the internet and what test you think you need, he won’t listen. The office is very busy and we couldn’t get an appointment for a few weeks and once you are there, prepare to wait 15-30 minutes. Nurses and reception ladies are nice and try to help you if you have any questions. I wish Dr. Melnick smiled from time to time try to be more personal with his patients.

I like doctors that listen not only to your questions but know how to ask questions and pick up on other clues - and take time to explain their answers, not just "that's not a concern" or to be dismissive without letting you know why. Melnick was good at paying attention and addressing my concerns, not just his. And he appropriately addressed issues that needed it in a comprehensive manner.

I HAVE ALWAYS SAID THAT DR. MELNICK IS LITERALLY ONE IN A MILLION DOCTORS, AND I DON'T THINK I AM WRONG. DR. MELNICK HAS PROVIDED ME WITH SO MANY RESOURCES FOR MY CHRONIC HIP PROBLEMS, AND LUNG PROBLEMS. HE REALLY NEVER GETS "SICK" OF HELPING OR BEING RESOURCEFUL. DR. MELNICK HAS BEEN PATIENT TO SAY THE LEAST AND INFORMATIVE. I HONESTLY WISH HE WAS A THERAPIST BECAUSE HE IS VERY CARING, UNDERSTANDING, AND REALLY TRY'S HIS BEST TO HELP AND RESOLVE SOLUTIONS. THANKYOU DR. MELNICK FOR BEING A GREAT DOCTOR AND PUTING UP WITH HAVING TO BRING MY KIDS' IN BECAUSE I HAD NO ONE TO WATCH THEM AND FOR BEING PATIENT WITH ME WHEN IT COMES TO MY HIP PROBLEMS THAT IS VERY FRUSTRATING. GOD BLESS.

I HAVE SAID IT BEFORE AND I WILL SAY IT AGAIN, DR. MELNICK IS BY FAR THE MOST PATIENT, UNDERSTANDING, CARING, AND NICE DOCTOR I HAVE EVER MET. I HAVE HAD ALOT OF MEDICAL PROBLEMS AS WELL AS PERSONAL LOSSES THIS PAST YEAR AND HE HAS BEEN VERY HELPFUL AND CARING. HE REALLY HELPED WITH MY BROKEN FOOT (HE'S NOT EVEN A ORTHOAPEDIC DOCTOR), AND MY INJURED HIP AND I AM EVEN GOING TO TRANSFER OVER THE REST OF MY FAMILY (MY 3 LITTLE GIRLS) BECAUSE WHY GO TO A BUNCH OF DIFFERENT DOCTORS WHEN YOU CAN HAVE ONE OUTSTANDIN ONE THAT IS WONDERFUL, I AM SO THANKFUL THAT I FOUND DR. MELNICK BECAUSE A GOOD DOCTOR IS REALLY HARD TO COME BY AND I AM SO VERY GRATEFUL.

EVERYONE WAS VERY NICE AT THIS OFFICE, THE SECRETARIES, THE NURSES, AND ESPECIALLY DOCTOR MELNICK. I HAD A BROKEN TAIL BONE AND THEY WERE VERY UNDERSTANDING, PATIENT, AND HELPFUL. ALWAYS ON TIME AND VERY LAID BACK BUT ALSO PROFESSIONAL. DID NOT MAKE ME SUFFER AND LEAVE ME IN PAIN EITHER AND GAVE ME A REALISTIC OUTLOOK ON THE TIME FRAME FOR ME TO HEAL. THIS IS MY NEW AND PERMANENT DOCTOR.
