I had a positive pregnancy test and did not have a OBGYN, so went to Dr. Desai who I had gone for regular ailments off and on. She identified as a pregnancy by blood test but the ultrasound showed no sign of pregnancy, which was an indication of ectopic pregnancy. She should have sent me to an OBGYN immediately but rather told me to wait for another 10 days and then she herself would do another blood test and ultrasound. Three days later, I had to go to the ER and had to had an emergency operation to remove one of my fallopian tube. My friends kept telling me to go to an OBGYN but it was my mistake I trusted Dr. Desai. Basically she wanted to make her own fees and also referral money for blood tests and ultrasound. What a noble act for a noble profession

Though I have been a ptient of Desai for years, when unfortunate events led to us being temporarily on Medicaid, she completely refused to see me unless I could pay in cash!!!! Prior to that, I was told that as long as I was already a patient, I could continue to see her while on medicaid! What kind of care is that?

Dr. Desai is very open and honest. She cares about her patients and will spend the necessary time with each one. She can be relied upon to follow up with patients. She goes beyond the norm.

Dr. Desai is a professional and is very knowledgable but in my opinion she is very quick to write things off and doesn't listen very well before she is quick to make a judgment.

I have recently switched doctors and have been very pleased with Dr. Desai and her staff. They have been receptive to any and all of my questions/concerns while I have been experiencing a medical crisis. I highly recommend this practice.

I have received very good care from Dr. Desai. She listens to my problems and provides good care. Even though I am with an HMO, she is not afraid to make referrals to other doctors. She has an excellent "bedside manner" and I am happy with the care I have received from her.

She doesnt seem to be a doctor. Is not knowledgeable about anything. Has never been able to help me. Whenever I came back after seeing her, I'd wonder why the hell am I going to her.

Dr. Rupa Desai is a wonderful doctor. I have been seeing her for over 5 years, and she always has helped me solve my health related issues, and has been very proffesional, helpful, and understanding.

She is a horrible doctor, She is a GP but I went to her for a papsmear. She told me I had herpes, so for years I was taking medication for Herpes and it turned out I was just getting yeast infections. She ruined my life for several years, I had to tell my boyfriends I had vaginal herpes and wasted tons of money on medications. Think twice before you go to her.
