Dr. Minion Mitchell is a highly competent diagnostician optometrist. I was seen following an injury which she diagnosed and treated. I want to thank Dr. Mitchell and her caring staff.

Dr. Mitchell spotted my Age Related Macular Degeneration early and recommended a specialist in that field. I am so glad she was my Optometrist. I have recommended her many times.

I've lived in many cities across the country and have had around 10-10 optometrists. I have found Dr. Mitchell to be the best, most patient and most thorough Optometrist I've ever visited.

Dr. Mitchell was the first optometrist I have seen since moving from Ohio. My eyes have never been the same since moving to a higher elevation. After seeing Dr. Mitchell my eyes didn't seem to adjust to the prescription she gave me. I called and got back in to see her after having been there the week before. She charged me another office visit fee which I felt was wrong.
Then she just looked in my eye and said she saw scar tissue and recommended hot compresses. To this day I still have blurry vision & redness & irritation in my left eye. She didn't seem to really want to get to the bottom of the issue, didn't seem very thorough or detail oriented. Needless to say I will be shopping around for another optometrist. Highly dissatisfied customer.

Dr. Mitchell is as good as it gets. She was my regular optometrist before I had PRK. So I've been going to her for about 5 years now. My vision was terrible before my surgery. Taking eye exams was frustrating because my vision got worse every year. I decided to try something different and began doing eye exercises. When I went in for my next eye appointment my vision had improved. She asked me if I was doing anything differently and I reluctantly told her about the hotly debated eye exercise routine I had been doing. She was very professional, courteous and respectful in response. I expected to get a lecture but instead she said, "Keep it up if you feel it works for you". Whether she completely agreed with the practice or not, she didn't make me feel like a whack-job for doing it and I appreciate that. (: I highly recommend her. Easy-going, professional and reasonably priced.

Dr. Mitchell was very helpful and patient. She took the time to explain everything. I was even able to come back when my contacts were not quite right and she worked with me until they were. I have never had such a wonderful experience at the eye doctor. The prices are very reasonable. They were able to schedule me for that same day. The office was easy to find and professional. I have referred several people to Dr. Mitchell because she did such a wonderful job. I will definitely be returning to Dr. Mitchell next year for my eye exam!
