Our OB referred us to Dr. Selvi for a fetal echo due to some history of heart issues in myself and our family history. She was absolutely fantastic. She answered all of our questions was super personable, knowledgeable and friendly. I would absolutely recommend her. She assured us that our baby's heart was healthy and ruled out all major heart disease and defects.

I visited Dr. Senthilnathan after being referred by my OBGYN for a slightly irregular fetal heartbeat at 37.5 weeks. This is technically my second pregnancy (my first ended at 20 weeks due to a chromosomal abnormality) so, suffice to say, I was a wreck and VERY concerned about all the worst case scenarios. Dr. S was both warm and knowledgeable and definitely made me feel a little more relaxed even before I had the ultrasound done. The sonographer (I didn't catch her name) was also very efficient and kind, and certainly knew what she was doing. I was super happy to see my little one on the screen as she took multiple images from various angles, etc. Dr. S was then able to immediately check them out and analyze them on her computer. It's actually SO NICE to have the doctor immediately read the report instead of waiting for days, or weeks, to hear back, For an anxious first time mom, that was a plus. She looked over everything and told me everything looked fine. Earlier, she drew my husband and I a diagram of the heart and explained what she would be looking for, based on what the functions of each part of the heart were. She also explained that, structurally, we can see a lot, so that made me a feel a lot better too.

I'm grateful to her and her staff because I went in feeling overwhelmed and prepared to hear the worst. She made me understand the possibilities without scaring me unnecessarily and explained everything and answered my questions thoroughly.

After two unclear ultrasounds, I was referred to a pediatric cardiologist to have my baby's heart looked at. Like most pregnant mothers, I felt anxious and concerned and did not know what I could expect. Luckily, there was only a two day wait period to see a doctor.
Immediately upon meeting Dr. Selvi, I felt at ease. She was kind and thorough. She drew pictures of the heart and explained the original reports in detail. She explained what part of the heart needed to be further investigated.

The technician was also very nice and efficient. While she was reviewing the heart, Dr. Selvi provided details about what was being looked at. I really appreciated all of the open communication because I never felt as though I was out of the loop or that there were any grey areas. All professionals working at the office made me feel as though I could ask and or mention any questions or concerns.
While I was in my appointment, I had a dizzy spell (nearly fainted) due to low blood sugar. Dr. Beaulieu’s wife, the technician and Dr. Selvi took VERY GOOD CARE of me! They rushed to get me an icepack, cold water, a protein bar and even a glass of juice. I felt so embarrassed but the staff’s care, concern and advice/ability to help, made me feel SO MUCH better!
Their professionalism and expertise in all areas was evident from the beginning to the very end of the appointment (even in times of crisis haha). I insisted on paying for my juice/snacks and they did not accept my offer. I could not have asked for a better experience and I am SO HAPPY to know that there are offices that can make patients feel good regardless of how stressful some medical situations may feel.

FANTASTIC! She takes the time to try to relieve any stress that your child is experiencing, explains EVERYTHING in plain language to both you and your child and doesn't make you feel rushed AT ALL.
