Dr Metzler was my dr for both of my babies. He always makes sure to answer all questions. Even got side tracked from a question and I forgot to bring it up again and he remembered later and made contact with me to answer the question. He really cares about his patients and the whole family. He does run late often but I believe it is because he never rushes a patient

The first time I met Dr. Metzler it was for the results of my first ultrasound with my first pregnancy. Never having met me before, I was pleasantly surprised at his determination to make sure all of my questions were answered to the fullest. As I walked out of the office and into the parking lot, I thought it odd that my car was the only one there. Looking at my watch, I realize Dr. Metzler had stayed 45 MINUTES past clinic closing time to sit and talk with me. I never once even got the impression that he had been looking at the clock, or was in a hurry to get me out of there. Now, if that doesn't say something about the character of this man, I don't know what does. I immediately decided that he was going to be my OB/GYN, and his demeanor has never waivered. This guy is good. I can't recommend him enough. (Why did I only rate him a 4/5 on punctuality? Because he usually does run late. However, it's because he never. rushes. his patients. I can wait for a guy like that.)

When I discovered I was pregnant with my first child, I switched from my previous OBGYN to Dr. Metzler. This was one of the best decisions I have ever made. He is an absolutely wonderful physician and person. He really takes the time to listen to his patient's concerns and questions and works with them to provide the best solutions. He is very easy to talk to and has a lovely bedside manner. I did have some complications throughout my pregnancy and he always made me feel like everything was going to be ok. He shows great care and compassion, which is so rare in doctors anymore. He was also wonderful to my family at the hospital when the time came to deliver our son - he kept them updated on everything that was going on. His nurses and office staff are also top notch. I also recently had a gynecological surgery performed by Dr. Metzler and again, he was very kind, professional, knowledgeable and always there to answer any questions I had. I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone!

Pleasant enough at first, but became irritated when questioned about his recommendations. He was not credentialed to do robotic hysterectomy and became defensive when I explained I preferred that to an open surgery. He did not offer a referral to someone in his group who might consider this option.

Dr. Metzler is a great doctor! I would definitely recommend him. He is very nice and listens to what you have to say. He always asks if you have any questions and is very encouraging. He goes out of his way to make sure you have a successful pregnancy.

Dr. Metzler is one of the most compassionate doctors I have ever met. It is obvious he cares about his patients and he really seems to know his stuff. I was referred to him when I had ovarian cysts and when he found out I was not on birth control, he went out of his way to educate me about the different options. He even went out of his way to call other doctors to make sure one form of birth control would not interfere with another medical condition that I had (which is why I was not on BC in the first place). He is a wonderful man and a great doctor. I highly recommend him.

I thank God that I had a doctor like Erich Metzler during my pregnancy. He listened, always made sure I was ok, and was very compassionate. He was always kind, and he even took time to get to know my boyfriend and I. I recommend him to anyone, he is absolutely fabulous! He knows his stuff..

Dr. Metzler is by far the best OB/GYN I've found. He obviously cares for his patients, and usually will even return phone messages himself, rather than the nurse. I also have no problem getting a fast appointment if I need to see him on short notice.
