The Dr.Broome and staff are kind to their patients by making them feel as comfortable as possible and do follow up calls to see how you are doing after surgery/dental procedure. I would recommend their office to anyone. They take care credit for those who don't have insurance. That was a huge help to me.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I believe Dr. Broome is great if you don't have any complications; however, he must have had a bad day when he worked on my teeth in Aug 2015. He performed a root canal on a tooth that I don't believe even needed it, so 5 days later, the one that really needed it started hurting like crazy. I had told him that the dentist I had seen before him had stated that tooth #20 was experiencing referred pain and #18 was the source, but he worked on #20 instead. Then, 5 days later, he did the root canal on #18 and damaged a nerve in a big way. He did admit that he was wrong about #20. Still had to pay though. After the lidocaine wore off of #18 I started experiencing burning pain in the lower left side of my gums, tongue, and teeth.

After 2 years and I still have horrific nerve pain on the left side of my lower jaw, burning, stabbing pain in my left lower gums, teeth, and left side of lip. Because of the nerve inflammation, I also have burning mouth syndrome (a general burning inside my whole mouth).

I have been to over 30 doctors to try and get relief but only have been able to get to a somewhat manageable level with prescription nerve medication, and still have a persistent burning in my mouth the majority of the time. I went back to see him twice after this bad root canal procedure and he just kept assuring me that it would feel better soon. WRONG!!! He nor his staff was helpful after this. I had to go out on my own to get help from other doctors. He never got on the phone personally to speak to me about this complication.

I would take caution in going to this doctor. I signed the waiver thinking I didn't need to worry; but I so did. The waiver didn't say anything about severe burning from injection damage to the nerve. The general consensus from all the doctors I went to stated they believed I sustained damage to the inferior alveolar/ lingual nerve from the injection during the procedure. Everyone, including myself hoped that it would heal but it never did.

Oh, and to make matters worse, I ended up having to have the last tooth he performed a root canal on, #18, extracted. This tooth was setting so close to the inflamed damaged nerve that the pain was too much to take, even with medication. I would be addicted to Tramadol right now had I not had it extracted. I still have some burning pain from the damaged nerve though, and thanks to Dr. Broome, have a lifetime of pain ahead of me.

I have also spent well over $14,000 in trying to resolve this issue that Dr. Broome created for me.

My biggest concern or fear when going to the dentist is the injection. I have very weak teeth and have had them worked on for many years. This dentist is by far the best I have ever been to when it comes to injections. I have the most sensitive mouth, and I am probably the worst sissy/crybaby over the needles. I am usually quite embarrassed over my own behavior when receiving an injection. But I have never been more surprised or shocked by the injection Dr Broome gave me...I NEVER FELT A THING !!!!and I cannot use the numbing topical either. This is the first review I have ever posted regarding a Dentist. But Dr. Broome gets an A+++ in my book when it comes to injections. As I left his office I was wondering how I could go get my numbing injections from him prior to visiting my regular dentist or oral surgeon. Who by the way are also excellent dentist...Dr Broome just has the golden touch when it comes to injections.

I had a abscess and needed a root canal procedure in a back molar. The initial needle is a big fear of mine. He placed a topical numbing agent on the site, and suggested maybe to close my eyes for the shot, which I did, I don't even want to see the needle. Obviously the shot wasn't pleasant, but it was nothing like the old days, where it feels like the needle is scraping against your jawbone. He gave an initial shot for a few seconds, and waited a few more minutes before giving the rest. That way I was good and numb, hence, virtually no pain with the dreaded shot. At the start of the root canal procedure, he asked "Do you feel anything?" I motioned "A little." By that, I meant I felt it slightly, not really pain. which I would have been fine with. Not good enough for him, he said "Hold on a minute, we'll take care of that." And I felt literally nothing for the rest of the procedure. Before I knew it, the root canal was finished, and the temporary filling was in. I'm ready for my regular dentist to fit a crown.
I've had a few root canals, and this was by far the easiest one. Dr. Broome has even been mentioned by a local radio talk show host as "The only guy I go to if I need a root canal."
I should also mention, the entire staff is top notch. I arrived at 7:30am, finished within an hour, and was back at work by 9. That included getting my prescription for anti-biotics filled down the street at Walgreens.

My appreciation and thanks to Dr.Broome's for his ethos of caring, and sincerity.Kudos to Dr.Broome and his dental hygienist Debbie and his office staff particularly with respect to their patients oral health and care. I had a root canal today on a tooth. Dr.Broome's was gentle to the touch while administering the shots. In fact (we) Dr.Broome, his assistant Debbie and I had engaged in a topic of interest before and during the actual surgery, they continued of course interacting with the social topic while I was having my procedure done, putting me in such a relaxed position,I actually closed my eyes relaxed and enjoyed the remainder of the conversation during the remaining time of the procedure. I had a moment to laugh, share and take a selfie video in between. Moments later he performed the root canal with such poise I didn't even realize I was done when he sat me up. It was painless! I hope to not ever need a root canal again, but if I do, I wouldn't hesitate to give this office a call. Dr.Broome is super personable, the receptionist was pleasant,as was Debbie the hygienist that assisted Dr.Broome. The office is beautiful, clean, and updated . I can't say enough about the efficiency and precision this doctor achieved. If you or anyone you know who needs endodontic work, send them here! I will definitely be recommending this office to others. Dr.Broome made my root canal, pleasant. Definitely NOT painful or traumatic. I feel no pain, just normal numbness that wears off after a few hours. Impressive service and post operative care, the doctors office called later in the evening to check in and make sure everything was OK. It is. Hours later, still no pain. I was accommodated before leaving the facility with two prescriptions in the event of infection or pain. I opted for less over the counter and was provided Advil ibuprofen in case of any slight discomfort. Thanks for getting my smile back on track, Dr.Broome!

Called Dr. and staff Mon 8 am on reco from family dentist as I had a painful infected abcess in tooth 18 and needed a root canal. My dentist Dr. Jay Suverkrup noted it would be a difficult procedure due to calcification in one of the three canals. The staff was professional, expedient and personable from my 1st phone call. They got me in in the afternoon and the whole procedure took 90 minutes. Everything was perfect. Due to Sjogren's Syndrome I have had many complex dental visits and this was one of the best. I was treated with up most respect, kindness and top care. Dr. Broome is a top endodontist. He is building a new office space across street that will be done soon and add the 'spa like' decor more sound control. The staff called me this afternoon to check on me and gave me a contact number if I have any concerns. I wish the office did more procedures so I could choose them for other perio needs. Convenient I70 and I75 location by Lakewood Ranch with pull up parking!

Dr. Broom was outstanding! Two years ago, he performed a route canal in the back of my mouth. I have TMJ and it is painful to open my mouth wide. Dr. Broom completed the route canal in a very short period of time with very minimal discomfort. I highly recommend him!
