Great salesman. At almost $30/minute to make each visit just for the initial consultation over $500, just like me they can cancel the procedure the day before and he can make a great living on that alone. Did I know the consultation would be that much before I went? No, not disclosed. His billing department will laugh at you right before they threaten to send you to collections simply because you called for an explanation and reconsideration of the bill. Does my scheduled day off get compensated? Nope. Does he return calls? No, he hides behind his staff. It seems he is more than willing to pay pennies on the dollar to a collections agency instead of discounting his consultation fee even one dollar. Yes, I asked for the dollar, they laughed. Don't go. If you get to the surgery part and if he is at least as good at that as he is in my opinion scamming me out of my money I am sure you will have relief. In my opinion, if they gave degrees in extortion he has earned his honorary master.

I was in constant pain from my toes to my buttocks in both legs (pins and needles). I was in AZ for the winter. A friend helped me arrange an appointment with Dr. Field. After all pre tests were administered and then examined by Dr. Field and his PA, they recommended spine surgery. A laminectomy was preformed successfully. My outcome was better than expected, so I am writing this recommendation to anyone considering spine surgery. I chose Dr. Field after researching spine procedures and highly qualified surgeons. He came as well on the recommendation of a doctor who had been treating me and could ‘t help me any further. I had been in pain for several months, which had grown increasingly worse, to the point that I could barely function without pain. Dr. Field took one look at my MRI and noted a cyst on my spine as well as a few other issues. I was scheduled for surgery within a couple weeks, and immediately after surgery was practically pain free. A week after surgery I am amazed at how much better I feel, and my mobility keeps improving with walking.
Dr. Field explained the surgery thoroughly so that I knew what to expect, as this was my first surgery ever. Everyone I encountered was friendly, compassionate and professional. This has been a great experience, and a wonderful outcome for me.
My wife, who also has ongoing back issues was quite impressed and will also see Dr. Field when the time comes. He is friendly and easy to talk to.

I consider Dr. Field to be among the most caring and competent doctors I've ever had the fortune to be under the care of! He is an outstanding surgeon---I was up and on my feet within hours of spinal surgery and am healing much more rapidly than I could have ever hoped for. His bedside manner is extremely comforting, and his office operates at peak efficiency---what more could a patient ask for? Thank you so very much, Dr. Field, for such an outstanding job!

I have been referred by two friends to Dr Justin Field to do my Lumbar Laminectomy surgery and spinal stenosis. After suffering of nerve pain on my right leg for months and misdiagnoses by my primary Doctor I finally had an appointment with Dr Field who immediately identified my problem, scheduled surgery. After my minimally invasive surgery I went home the same day and my pain was absolutely gone. It has been now almost 3 weeks since the surgery and all is going very well. No pain, walking 2 to 3 miles a day and all indications are that I will back on the tennis court in another 2 weeks. Dr Field has an incredible reputation, has a wonderful demeanor and has great support staff. My highest recommendation to anybody who suffers with any back and nerve problems.

I finally have my life back all due to the expertise of Dr. Justin Field!!! I was referred to Dr. Field thru a friend who also had Spinal Stenosis and had surgery by him. I had severe spinal stenosis of L4- L5 with nerve pain radiating down the left leg. I had numerous steroid injections by other doctors with no relief. Dr. Field performed the fusion and laminectomy of L4-L5 on December 2, 2020 and today (May 10 )I was released after 5 1/2 months!!!!!! I can now resume all normal activities and exercise. Since surgery I was able to walk without pain immediately. I wore a back support for 2 weeks only and slowly worked up to walking 4 miles per hour within 4-6 weeks. Very amazing to me!!
I cannot say enough about Dr. Field and their entire staff at Desert Institute for Spine Care.

How do you begin to describe a wonderful surgeon? Dr. Field is a kind and caring physician who carefully listens to his patients and thoroughly investigates the source of the problem. I've had multiple surgeries over the years and have complete and total faith in Dr. Field's knowledge and skills. He's the best!

I was referred to Dr. Field for my back pain by a friend.
Dr Field with DISC performed Spinal Stenosis and spinal fusion on my back (L3-4-5) on February 21st 2020. I am very, very happy with his work, my radiating pain in my buttocks and down my legs is completely gone and the recovery has been very much easier than I was thinking it would be.

I put this surgery off for 6 years anticipating that recovery and risk might take a long time. Much to my surprise I am totally happy with the results and recover process. I wish I would have done this surgery a long time ago. Putting it off was foolish. I can now stand, walk and participate in activities I have missed for over 6 years.

I was referred to DISC by my pain management clinic for chronic lower back pain that was causing extreme sciatic pain. I had tried everything to get relief except for surgery at that point. I have never had any type of surgery or even an IV before so I was extremely scared and hesitant of even the thought of needing surgery.
From the moment I met Dr. Field, he made me feel at ease and I knew I was in the right hands. The day of surgery, as expected, I was extremely nervous and in a lot of pain. Dr. Field and the entire staff at the SurgeCenter was so kind, helpful, patient, professional, organized and understanding. They made sure I was comfortable and that I knew what was going on every step of the way. Everything about this experience and this team of people was beyond my best expectations. They made something that I expected to be such a horrible situation such an easy and positive experience.
Even my sister in law who was my ride and waiting for me in the waiting room had a great experience with them. Dr. Field came out and gave her a full in detail run down of how I was doing and Gus at the check-in helped her find some snacks while she was hungry and waiting.
I am now 3 weeks post op, healed up and have ZERO pain.
I am so impressed with this facility and thankful that I was referred to DISC. Thank you so much for taking me out of pain and giving me my life back Dr. Field and team! I am forever grateful for you!
