Dr. Destito didn't bother to take any kind of history when I went to clinic with red eye and eye pain -- he literally asked only "Do you wear contacts?" Based on the fact that I do, he told me I have a bacterial infection and prescribed me antibiotics. If he had given me a chance, I could have told him that my husband had a nasty virus the week before, and that I had come down with some of the same symptoms (sore throat, etc). I also could have given him more information that pointed in the direction of a virus and not a bacterial illness. Sure enough, that evening the rest of the viral syndrome hit full force, and three days later my eye is worse than ever -- despite the (totally unnecessary in retrospect) antibiotics. Total waste of time and money because the doctor didn't take the time to take a simple history.

Wow!!! What a wonderful Doctor. Talk about being treated like family. And he is handsome too.
